Zorn (怒り, Fury) was an old Quincy allied with the Vandenreich.
Character Outline[]
Zorn was a tall Quincy who always wore a rectangular mask with a prominent chin colored a mixture of black and white. He wore the standard uniform of the Vandenreich and kept his Bankai Stealing Medallion within his pocket.
Background[]
Zorn was, like Juhabach, one of the Quincy the Shinigami failed to kill. He fought with Sōritsu Kuchiki during that event and scarred the Shinigami horribly, removing his right eye and disfiguring him greatly. One thousand years later he returned as a member of the Vandenreich, commanding a small unit that comprised a few Quincy including Siegfried Adler, that was seperate from the Stern Ritter that attacked the Central 46.
Zorn was eventually discovered by an elderly Sōritsu who recognized him as the Quincy who had scarred him in the past and quickly incapacitated Siegfried before he activated his Bankai Taiyō no Enchōmaku in an attempt to kill Zorn. Zorn stole it using his medallion and attacked him with an enhanced San'uēbu. The attack was intercepted however by Ryan Kuchiki, though Sōritsu told him to stay back. Sōritsu forcibly absorbed the next attack and returned it along its previous trajectory, incinerating Zorn's lower half. As he lay dying Sōritsu explained he could control his Bankai powers even in his Shikai state and called him a fool for underestimating a Shinigami's power before he died.
Equipment[]
Medallion: Using this medallion Zorn was capable of stealing Sōritsu's Bankai Taiyō no Enchōmaku, though he would quickly reclaim it. With it he could absorb the suns rays and fire it as a concentrated wave of molten metal at a fraction of the speed of light, though it was much weaker than when used by Sōritsu.
