Zenshin (前身, The Forerunner), known commonly as Z (安い), is the former Seventh Seat of the 12th Division of the Gotei 13. He betrayed the Soul Society and joined Takahara Yasuhiro where he then fled to Heisekai.

Powers and Abilities[]
Spiritual Power: As a seated officer of the Gotei 13, Zenshin boasts high spiritual power. He is noted to have exceptional control over his own powers.
Zanpakutō[]
Chijō no Seijin (地上の聖人, Earthly Sage). Zenshin's zanpakutō takes the form of a wakizashi with onyx-colored hilt wrapping and a rough square guard.
- Shikai: Zenshin releases his zanpakutō with the command "Bring forth your Blessing".
- Shikai Special Ability: Zenshin gains the ability to petrify his surroundings almost instantly, including any organic life, spiritual entity, or man-made structure. Its one weakness is the seeming lack of mid-to-long-range usage.
