Arthur Callaghan (アーサー キャラハン, Āsā Kyarahan), is a Fullbringer and the leader of the organization known as Xodus.

Appearance[]

Arthur is a lean and tall figure, with a complexion typical for a man that hails from the British Isles. He has neck length black hair that is largely pulled to the back, where it is tied into a short ponytail. However, a portion of his hair is left to frame either side of his face, alongside a set of low hanging bangs, that cover his forehead. Though his hair is largely well-kept, the ends appear to be somewhat ragged. He has sharp, angular eyebrows that arc downward at their beginning and upward at their ending, he also has angular green eyes and a slight crease at the edge of his brow, just above the bridge of his nose. His nose is relatively small, and it possesses a slight upward tip. He has a straight jaw, with the markings of some stubble covering his chin. His clothing is quite basic, consisting of a brown jacket with emphasized, beige cuffs. Beneath it he wears a cream yellow shirt with a very deep v-cut that exposes part of his chest and a simple silver-tooth necklace. Both his shirt and coat have their collars popped, arraying atop one another. His shirt is left to hang over his simple dark grey jeans, and he tops it all off with a pair of brown loafers.

Personality[]

Plot[]

Bleach: Call of the Fullbringer[]

In the Senkaimon courtyard, Arthur asks Fiona Archer how things are going, only for her to playfully rebuff him. They joke about his inability to sense the spiritual energies of others, before she divulges information regarding a variety of fights in the Seireitei, as members of Xodus face off against the Gotei 13.

Sensing their targets nearby, Fiona tells Arthur, who asks her to go and fetch them. Using her Fullbringer abilities, she obliges, disappearing just as captain Iwao Fujioka makes his presence known, admitting with surprise that Arthur was telling the truth about his weak senses.

Arthur affirms his honesty, turning to face him whilst revealing he already knew his name; something he could glean from the Shinigami's soul at this range. Unperturbed by this, Iwao reveals he too knows Arthur's, but that's all he knows about him. Threateningly, he admits that will be changing soon.

Attempting to dispense with formalities, Iwao asks Arthur for a description of his power, bewildering the Fullbringer. After causing Iwao to repeat himself, Arthur mockingly explains that his Fullbring has the power to cut bread into "the thinnest slices [he has] ever seen", much to Iwao's growing irritation.

Placing his hand on his Zanpakutō, Iwao demands that Arthur admit he has no intention of explaining his power, so that he may resort to his backup plan. Arthur chides him, sarcastically remarking that he's supposed to be smart, before stating that its the principle behind his explanation that matters, which only serves to further aggravate Iwao. The captain draws his blade with surprising swiftness, cutting a large gash in the earth that spews up dust at Arthur, as his Reiatsu swells, in an attempt to suppress the human so that he can't escape.

Nevertheless, Arthur appears a brief distance away under an occurrence of Bringer Light, pretending to act like he had never moved at all.

He remarks on the shortness of the captain's temper while regarding the ring on his finger, tempted to stall for as long as he could get away with. Deciding not to waste time, however, Arthur activates his Fullbring, Victory of Balmoral.

Iwao demands to know how Arthur escaped him when his Reiatsu should've slowed him down, only for Arthur to shrug, stating he hadn't done anything. Iwao uses Shunpo to quickly get behind him, but as he mutters the words for a Kidō spell, he realises that Arthur had predicted the attack. As the captain lets out an expletive, he retreats, only to be followed by a growing sea of green Reiryoku. He strikes at it with his sword, only for it to erupt and explode, leaving his entire body burned and his robes ruined.

Seemingly more calm now, Iwao remarks that Arthur's power can release energy waves, but only if it shifts into a "new" form. Arthur retorts that his power is "something like that". He explains that his Fullbring is on the lower end of the "power lottery" but it has more than enough strength to finish off Iwao. The time he spends talking is an excuse to build up power in Victory of Balmoral which continually generates more and more energy as he speaks, before he finally launches a much larger wave at his foe.

The shadow created by the wave casts so much of the Seireitei in its midst that it becomes obvious that dodging it would be nearly impossible, though Iwao tries to anyway, carrying himself some distance away with Shunpo. Failing to escape its grasp, he defends himself with Kaizō Kidō #39, Totsumen Enkōsen. Though the projected barrier holds off the attack for a time, it eventually cracks and shatters, before Iwao is once more consumed by Arthur's energy. Emerging from the side of a billow of smoke, Iwao's arm is burned a deep black.

The attack is powerful enough that Arthur sets his Fullbring to its Closed State, plunging it into the ground to keep himself steady before the explosion from the resulting shockwave rips up the earth around him. Pulling on the soul of the air, the Fullbringer takes to the air, and uses some flying debris to help deal with the resulting aftershocks. Iwao is left doing much the same, and as the two finally return to the ground, and a nearby roof, they find that much of the Senkaimon's western gate has been destroyed.

Almost immediately, Iwao unleashes Hadō #30, Shakkahō at his human adversary, only for Arthur to shoot right past it, closing the distance between them. He delivers a downward slash to the captain, only to be parried by his blade.

Arthur remarks that he got stuck with the worst captain, while Iwao retorts that he had been left with the most easily deceived Fullbringer as he attempts to push Arthur back.

A small orb appear on the flat tip of Victory of Balmoral and as Arthur states that he believes that fact is also the other way around, Iwao is engulfed in a massive pillar of energy.

Initially split in half by the attack, Iwao reveals himself to be unharmed, explaining that his new invention saved his life. A reishi teleporter that swapped out the particles that make up his body with those of the nearby environment. He goes on to explain that its risky to use, as it could've just as easily swapped his leg with a plank of wood, or something to that effect.

Telling Iwao that its flawed, Arthur points out that he could attack the device to get rid of it, or go after Iwao in hopes that it would backfire, and as his Fullbring switches to its Open State once again, he points out the third option: taking out them both.

Iwao remarks that there's no need, as the device needs at least an hour to recharge, and as he approaches Arthur, seemingly lowering his guard, he tries to placate the Fullbringer with an offer of candy, explaining that these devices are a pain to build.

Silently, Arthur unleashes his attack anyway, aiming at the general vicinity of Iwao as the captain emerges from a step of Shunpo. Though the captain avoids the attack, much of the area is destroyed in the resulting slash.

Iwao drops the candy, claiming now he'll focus his efforts on killing Arthur, leaping towards him as he unleashes another spell: Hadō #32, Ōkasen. Arthur completely ignores the attack, swinging his arm straight through the spell, which incinerates his jacket and shirt, burning through his arm, but fails to stop his attack, another sweeping ocean of energy fired upon Iwao that he couldn't escape.

Some distance away, Arthur switches to his left arm, allowing his right to rest listlessly at his side. Iwao emerges from a plume of dust and smoke, further burned by his enemy's attack, but is quick to leap into action, this time firing off Hadō #4, Byakurai at the same time as he attempt to lock Arthur down with a sword strike.

Both fly wide as Arthur begins to motion in retaliation, only to swiftly move backwards by pulling on the air, and as soon as he is out of reach, his motion continues, firing yet another strike at Iwao, who barely fails to avoid it by ascending into the air. Unperturbed this time, he immediately appears behind Arthur, stating that he's gotten used to his attacks and the pair clash blades.

Arthur points out that his sword carries no weight to it, that his strikes are weak, and Iwao admits that he's quite bad with swords, prompting him to unleash Ōkasen yet again, but this time it is met with Arthur's energy slash, and promptly consumed by the massive wave that rips through Iwao, sending him crashing into the walls on the edge of the Seireitei.

The captain regains his posture once more and lunges after Arthur who plunges his sword downward, causing the energy to erupt around them, Iwao strikes it, causing it to explode prematurely, injuring both men in the process.

Iwao claims that "[it] should be done by now", revealing another item in the pocket of his tattered haori, a syringe filled with a fluid that restores the users energy. Not long after injecting himself with the fluid, he attacks Arthur again, only to be evaded.

The Fullbringer advises him that he pauses too long between attacks, maintaining a defensive posture. His eyes widen at the sudden appearance of Fiona, who calls out the name of her Fullbring, All in the Wrist as her gauntlet-clad fist barrels into the side of Iwao's face, launching him into a nearby wall.

Though the captain gets back up yet again, he soon realises the state of his injuries and at last collapses, unable to move.

Fiona mocks Arthur for struggling with "this beefcake", who replies simply, that he was "surprisingly spry".

Arthur motions past her, asking if the two people following her are the pair they had come to collect.

With an emphatic "duh", Fiona asks who else would they be. Bemused, Arthur asks her to call the rest of the team back.[1]

As Xodus gathers together, Masato Fujiwara and Kumiko Fujimoto question what is going on, Arthur explains that they have an ongoing conflict with the Shinigami and saved the two as they don't want others getting caught up in their battle.

Not long after, the group wrench open a Senkaimon, and use it to escape back to the Human World.[2]

Emerging on the outskirts of Karakura Town, Arthur congratulates the team on a job well done, albeit with little gravitas. The group take it in stride, expressing themselves as they desire.

Before taking their leave, Arthur hands a strange playing card to the pair of Fullbringers, telling them that its "for when the rain hits". With that ambiguous statement, Xodus makes its exit.[3]

Sometime following the battle in the Seireitei, Masato's powers begin going haywire, and in an attempt to find out what's going wrong, he and Kumiko try to contact Xodus. Exposing the card they were given to the rain outside, they realise the playing card is actually a facade, the metal plaque underneath identifying their base of operations, or so the two assume, as the Shiro apartment complex.

Finding their way there, they eventually meet up with Arthur and Maeve O'Bannon. With seeming disinterest to their plight, Arthur looks the pair over, and almost immediately discerns the issue. He offers the task to Maeve, who soon takes them out of the room.[4]

Powers & Abilities[]

Natural Abilities

Master Swordsman: Arthur is a highly skilled fighter, coming from a knightly lineage, he was trained in the arts of swordsmanship from a very early age, and has grown to be skilled in a great many types of the bladed weapons, particularly two-handed swords. He is able to go toe-to-toe with Shinigami Captains that have decades if not centuries of experience over him in the field of swordsmanship. He could also handle the pressure of fighting multiple opponents at once with relative little change in his stance.

Enhanced Speed: Arthur has mastered the ability of "pulling" on the soul of the air to allow him to leap great heights and move through its currents at amazing speed, making it seem like he has developed unnatural levels of physical speed or flight. He was able to successfully dodge a constant and simultaneous assault from several Shinigami officers without a scratch, whilst already engaged in battle with another opponent at the time.

Spiritual Awareness: As a Human with a high degree of spiritual power, he is capable of perceiving objects that are from the spiritual realms, such as Shinigami and Hollows. His awareness has been described as "shortsighted", as the range at which he can perceive spiritual beings is rather short, up close it is particularly sharp however, allowing him to see great detail in those around him, even deriving the names of others from their spiritual energy alone.

High Spiritual Power: Arthur has a very large quantity of spiritual power despite his status as a Human. He is capable of easily overpowering lower ranked Shinigami whilst they are restricted to 20% of their power and could fight in equal terms with Lieutenants and Captains, even oppressing them somewhat with his own power whilst they had their power confined to the same restrictions. Even in the presence of a Captain that had broken the restraints, his spiritual power was not smothered away, and allowed him to keep fighting and even inflict harm upon an enemy that he should have rightly been unable to touch.

  • The Will to Fight On: (志上戦, Zhisenue): Arthur has the unique capability to be able to defy the natural order presented by spiritual powers, he is unaffected by the weight of a much greater power, his body outright ignoring its effects, and his own attacks are still capable of causing great harm to those inflicted by them despite the politics of spiritual power being in play. This is stated to be an effort brought about by sheer willpower, that Arthur breaks through the barriers and restrictions placed upon him by a higher force because he refuses to allow them to stand in his way.
Fullbring

Victory of Balmoral: (ビクトリー・オブ・バルモラル, Bikutorī obu Barumoraru): The object that Arthur has greatest affinity with is the signet ring that rests on his right middle finger. It is a silver ring with a flat bezel that is emblazoned with his family's heraldic crest. A triangle resting in the center with rounded edges, with a ring on top of it and three other rings that loop around to it before attaching to a larger ring that runs the edge of the bezel. The ring is ancient, passed down from each member of the Callaghan family to the next, with its most recent wearer being Arthur. As such he claims that it is a strong focus for a Fullbring, not because of his own power, but because it contains the strength and experience of every member of his family, all of them lending their powers to it so that Arthur might seize the day. When Fullbring is used upon its form, the ring transforms into a hulking greatsword with a unique quadrilateral blade. The blade takes a diamond shape, with the thinnest of space between each side of the blade, those small spaces emitting a faint yellow-green glow, the tip of the blade is flat. The sword also has a flat golden crossguard and a long black cloth hilt, the pommel is black with a golden outline, formed into the shape of a fan or dog's paw, with four jagged points. This is what's referred to as Victory of Balmoral's Closed State (クローズ・ステート, Kurozu Sutēto). The pommel can be twisted and then pulled downward, which reveals a second lengthier pommel made of steel, it also causes the four edges of the sword's blade to open revealing a large cylindrical rod of spiritual energy at is center, this is Victory of Balmoral's Open State (オープン・ステート, Ōpun Sutēto).

  • Power Emanation (霊力束 (パワー・エマナシーオン, Pawā Emanasīon; Japanese for "Spiritual Power Coil"): The large cylinder within Victory of Balmoral's interior simulates the process by which a soul generates Reiryoku within itself, though to a vastly greater extent. A constant flow of energy floods out from the rod to fill the hollow interior of the Fullbring sword and visibly leaks out into the air through the tiny spaces on the blade's edges. Though the flow is constant, Victory of Balmoral's alternating states allow it to be moderated by Arthur so that while he always has access to this great font of spiritual energy, he can prevent his attacks from causing more damage than they should, or otherwise release more energy as he needs it. At its most unrestrained, the power generated is like an all consuming ocean, rippling out as massive waves to crush and destroy anything within its path.
  • Closed State Energy Blade: The spiritual energy that constantly seeps from within Victory of Balmoral can be channeled to the flat tip of his blade, where it is focused and molded into an orb of the smallest possible size. When swung, that power cascades outwards into a terrifyingly powerful pillar of light. The direction of the pillar can be directed depending on the arc of the swing, allowing the beam attack to appear vertically, horizontally, and, diagonally to hit multiple targets, or simply overwhelm a single individual. The beam is dense enough to travel a distance that far outweighs most levels of sight for the naked eye.
  • Open State Energy Blade: In its Open State, the greatest of Victory of Balmoral's explosive potential can be wielded, as massive waves of Reiryoku pour out of the large spaces caused by the opening of the blade. Using his full strength to swing the larger and unusual frame of the weapon, Arthur can generate large energy blades akin to such attacks as Ichigo Kurosaki's Getsuga Tenshō, though rather than appearing like a crescent or wave of energy, Arthur's energy blade takes the form of a massive ocean, a tidal wave that crashes into his opponents and drowns them in its power before unleashing it in an intense explosion that emits such force that even the aftershock can be immensely dangerous to those caught nearby.

Trivia[]

  • Arthur's physical appearance is designed after Ricardo Fellini, the Italian Gundam Battle Champion, or the "Italian Dandy", from Gundam Build Fighters.
  • Victory of Balmoral is named after Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Eva Kelly (エバ ケリー, Eba Kerī) is an Irish Fullbringer and member of the organization known as Xodus.

Appearance[]

Eva Kelly is a woman of average height with a relatively slim build, she is relatively slender physically with a few bare hints of muscle definition. She has a pale caucasian pigmentation, though traces of a farmer's tan remain on her forearms. She has necklength black hair, comparable with the colour of a raven's feathers, which is tied into a small bun behind her. Part of her hair is left to hang out in front, framing the left side of her face, her fringe is combed back allowing an uninterrupted view of her rather prominent forehead. She has sharp and angular eyes with ice blue pupils, her eyelashes are typically seen as well defined thanks to the application of mascara. Her features are lightened up by thin, rounded brows, a rounded chin and small button-sized nose. She has a trio of beauty marks on her right cheek aligned as an inverted triangle. Typically, Eva dresses in a gray suit, consisting of a long sleeved suit jacket that only has a few buttons done up at the center, allowing the top and bottom to be somewhat more free flowing. Beneath that she wears a white dress shirt with a few buttons undone at the top allowing her to more easily breathe. She wears a pair of dress slacks tied by a simple black leather belt with a steel square buckle and lastly a pair of black high-heeled shoes with cut-out toe points.

Powers & Abilities[]

Natural Abilities

Enhanced Durability: Eva is very hardy for a Human, able to take a vertical sword wound across much of the right side of her body and survive. She proved strong enough to remain conscious in spite of blood loss caused by the wound, though it hampered her ability to continue fighting the fact that she survived at all is a testament.

Spiritual Awareness: Eva has enough spiritual power to be able to see spiritual beings such as Shinigami.

High Spiritual Power: Eva has a great quantity of spiritual power, enough so that she can inflict harm and even temporarily freeze a Shinigami Captain. Her Reiatsu manifests as a sea blue aura.

Fullbring

Foolish Fire (アホウッシュ・ファイア, Foorisshu Faia): Eva carries necklace that takes the form of a sapphire jewel wrapped in an ornate golden pendant of Gaelic design, it is a family heirloom that was passed down to her from her grandparents. Using Fullbring the necklace transforms, a small blue flame igniting within the sapphire that emits a rounded aura of light around the jewel that can be seen even at great distances and in the darkest night.

  • Water Manipulation: The primary ability of Eva's Fullbring is to control and manipulate water in all its forms. She has been shown to do so without even the slightest hint of physical action, implying that all she needs to control the water is her own thoughts. She can control massive flows and currents with her ability, uprooting a large portion of the Seireitei's underground sewers during battle. She has a great deal of versatility with the water as well, using it as small and precise threads to bind an opponent or simulating the rotation and speed of a whirlpool in order to make her attacks act like a drill.[5] Eva can also alter the temperature of the bodies of water under her control, freezing it instantly or causing it to boil as needed.[5]

Trivia[]

  • Eva is a Latin name meaning "life" or "living one", it is popular in Scotland and Ireland as an anglicisation of the Gaelic name Aoife, meaning "shining" or "radiant". Kelly is an anglicisation of the Irish "Ó Ceallaigh" which has many meanings, such as "descendant of Ceallach" or "warrior".
  • Foolish Fire is the Medieval Latin translation of ignis fatuus, one of the many names attributed to will-o'-the-wisps and which Eva's Fullbring is based on.

Peter Leary (ピーター リアリー, Pītā Riarī) is an Irish Fullbringer and member of the organization known as Xodus.

Appearance[]

Peter is a man of below average stature, falling a couple inches shorter than most men that hail from the Emerald Isle. His complexion is pale and his body is rather slender around his upper body, with his muscles being more prominent on his legs. He has short dark brown hair, that is typically brushed back, the edges of his hair just barely reaching the nape of his neck. To make himself stand out, he raises three tufts of hair along the top of his head into "feathers", a process that typically takes more than an hour if done alone, and more than a few tubs of hair gel. The hair on the right side of his face is also fussy, often coming away from behind his ear to the side of his face giving way to Peter's habit of sweeping it back, sometimes even when it has yet to do so. His facial features, though not typically seen as such on their own, give him a soft definition, with a rounded chin and a curved jawline couple with angular green eyes and somewhat thick eyebrows, as well as a small nose. Though rarely seen, he has acute creases under his eyes that become easy to see whenever he's angry. His chin is home to a well trimmed goatee. As well, his right forearm has a black tattoo shaped like a flag emblazoned onto it. Peter typically dresses with a white dress shirt, on top of which he wears a brown waistcoat with a breast pocket on the left side. His shirt has long sleeves as well as cuffs to fit the wrists. His left forearm is covered by a handmade brace made out of brown leather and embroidered along the sides with Celtic print. The top of it is lined with small sleeves, each of which are meant to hold a different type of pen or pencil for Peter's use. His legs are covered by a pair of black jeans, themselves held in place by a simple brown belt with a square, steel buckle. A pouch of sorts hangs from the right side of the belt, holding a small book with an empty black cover. His feet are covered by a pair of black dress shoes, usually worn with a pair of grey socks.

Personality[]

Peter is an exceedingly light hearted individual, seemingly naïve despite his age. He is incredibly optimistic about the world around him, letting very little in the way of things damper his mood. He is good natured about a great many things, even taking Ewan Dineen's relative xenophobia lightly, which, at the same time, he can admit may make him seem insensitive to other people. He is rarely upset by unforseen developments in an event, instead reacting with intrigue into whatever might happen next, such was the case during his battle with Musei Hyouketsu where his Fullbring permanently merged with the Shinigami's arm. He became curious as to the cause, and more importantly how it affected the Shinigami during their conflict. Nonetheless, despite being good humoured about a great deal of things, even Peter has his issues. He finds the touch of plastic on his skin to be severely uncomfortable, the act causing a visible shiver to run down his spine, though not enough to upset him on his own, someone causing the effect on purpose can easily get him to snap at them.

The manifestation of his Fullbring caused him to be abandoned as a child, his inability to control the spatial distortions he created at such an early age caused his parents to throw him out of home, and made it difficult for him to rely on others as a single manifestation was usually enough to lay blame at Peter's feet and cast him off. This led to the development of both a fear of abandonment and a fear of being left alone, which led to difficulty between himself and Arthur Callaghan when the latter attempted to recruit him for Xodus, though he has since become one of the group's most outspoken and positive members. His latter fear gave birth to a great love of Japan in a rather roundabout manner, though he adores its culture and history, he is also a lover of its rather cramped and tight-knit society, streets, public transportation, and homes are full of other people at almost all times ensuring the man will never truly be alone.

Peter is a great lover of history, particularly that surrounding the Asian continent. Having studied it a great deal, he has been seen fit enough to teach others about the subject, earning him a place as a Japanese History teacher at Karakura High School. He seeks to be able to teach at a university in Kagamino City, though his friends' insistence on remaining within Karakura has left him reluctant to attempt applying thus far. He has an expressed interest in the storied history of Soul Society as well, though his limited interaction with Shinigami has left him with little headway into the matter. Peter enjoys a great many hobbies in several different aspects of life, an able bodied runner, he often partakes of a morning jog alongside Maeve O'Bannon and Fiona Archer. He has a love handmade crafts, especially when it comes to embroidery, with him taking to making himself his own custom items such as the bracer he wears on his arm. In recent years he has begun studying fencing with Ewan, though he professes a lacking aptitude for it.

Plot[]

Bleach: Call of the Fullbringer[]

Powers & Abilities[]

Natural Abilities

Swordsman: Peter is a practitioner of classical fencing, as a pupil of Ewan Dineen. Due to a natural reluctance toward physical confrontation and a self-depreciative view of his skill, progress with learning the art has been slow and he is prone to making mistakes that could cost him his life in a real combat scenario.

Great Intellect & Keen Athleticism: Peter is a highly intelligent individual, having studied history and culture for a great many years, he is afforded some insight into the typical traits of the cultures he has studied, particularly the Japanese. His studies into history have taken him far enough to earn himself degrees in historical study and earn him positions as a teacher at several different venues. An interest in military history has given him valuable knowledge regarding planning and tactics, often affording him the role as the strategic forecaster for Xodus. He is also physically fit, at least when applying to his leg muscles, practicing running as a hobby, he has developed the muscles of his lower body well enough that he can outrun most of his peers and put a hefty amount of power behind his kicks, though limiting the use of his upper body has left others to describe his punches as being "as about effective as a wet noodle".

High Spiritual Power: Though not on par with them, Peter boasts enough spiritual power to be capable of fighting Captain-level Shinigami. His spiritual pressure has been described as prodding and curious, given others the feeling that his Reiatsu is poking at them as if trying to discern something from them, as a curious child would poke a rat with a stick. When exerted his Reiatsu takes on a shamrock pigmentation.

Spiritual Awareness: Peter has a highly acute spiritual sense allowing him to not only percieve spiritual beings, but detect them at a great distance. He can garner a great amount of detail from his senses, observing traits, strengths and weaknesses through their spiritual energy. He can tell the direction in which someone is facing even whilst unable to actually see them and can percieve movements through the flow of a person's Reiatsu a few split moments before they occur, affording him a kind of foresight in battle. He can impart this ability onto his Fullbring, the Art of War as well.

Fullbring

Art of War (アート・オブ・ウォー, Āto obu Uōa): Peter shares an odd affinity with a pair of old wooden chopsticks that he obtained from a Chinese restaurant as a child. They have been with him ever since, and serve as a reminder to a time before the manifestation of his Fullbringer powers. They are simple sticks of wood with the characters 望 (Wàng; Chinese for "Hope") and 棠 (Tong; Chinese for "Wild Plums") emblazoned on to them in red, with the first character sitting above the second. They typically remain hidden underneath the bracer present on Peter's left arm. When combined with the power of Fullbring, these chopsticks can be transformed into a large series of Bamboo slips, reminiscent of ancient Chinese scrolls. The slips number in the hundreds, and appear as a particularly large roll when bound together fully. Scrolled out, they present a massive blank canvas that can be altered by Peter at any time. These alterations take form as ink, or war blocks, used to symbolize units on a field such as during war planning or a tactical simulation. Units fielded by Peter or recognized by him as allies appear on his Fullbring as blue blocks while those he recognizes as enemies are red.

  • Reality Alteration: The Art of War has the ability to alter the details of the world around it, first by taking in the information of the world and then printing those details onto its surface, the world is then subject to alterations as Peter sees fit. With this power he is capable of creating soldiers from thin air, or turning a mass of ice into a living golem to obey his commands. Further, he can alter the entire landscape itself, having done so to transform a part of the Seireitei around the Eight Division barracks into a clearing surrounded by hills and a dense forest. His power is limited by stages that become accessible to him after a predetermined time limit has passed by. The First Stage (ファースト・ステージ, Fāsuto Sutēji) of his power is the ability to summon beings into the world and alter smaller details, such as bringing ice to life, without altering the world at large. The Second Stage (セカンド・ステージ, Sekando Sutēji) allows him to alter the world around him to his content, transforming an empty field in a massive fortress or reducing a town to a dilapidated ruin. Finally, the Third Stage (サード・ステージ, Sādo Sutēji) allows him the ability to not only apply roles to objects he summons, but to apply them to enemies and himself as well, typically he does this by enforcing a role known as the "Commander" on to his opponents, removing their ability to actually move or leave a predefined location whilst giving them control over their own set of minions similiar to Peter's' own, though this can be changed to instead allow the opponent control over their own allies instead. For each stage of his Fullbring, Peter has access to a greater variation of his summonable minions, distinguished from each other by colouration and the variety of roles they have access to. His power is not permanent, and anything afflicted by it is returned to normal once his Fullbring is deactivated.
  • White Knight (ホワイト・ナイト, Howaito Naito): With his Fullbring Peter is capable of summoning an army of minions in the form of white-clad knights that are covered from head to toe in armour with a single blue light visible from their helmets. These knights serve a variety of purposes as decided by Peter who assigns them roles for any given situation. Applying a role to them gives them a pretermined set of equipment and even alters the appearance of their armour to better fill the role given to them. As such those summoned for a role as defenders are given great tower shields and spears as weapons, acting together as a tight knit group and appearing to be harder to take down than their generic sword-wielding incarnations. Among the types shown were the basic knights that carried a sword and little else, an archer variation that appeared similiar to a Quincy using their basic Spirit Weapon, Kojaku (弧雀, Arc Sparrow) and the previously mentioned tower knights.
  • Black Knight (ブラック・ナイト, Burakku Naito): The much more powerful version of the Knights, accessible to Peter only while the Second Stage of his Fullbring is in effect. While White Knights have difficulty fighting anyone on a similiar level of power as Shinigami Captains, Black Knights are capable of pressuring these opponents and even dealing great harm to them. They come with vastly more versatility than their counterpart, able to manipulate spiritual energy in order to empower their attacks or make use of abilities. On top of this, they have more variations within the roles assigned to them. The standard Black Knight is a heavily armoured figure with a broadsword, capable of firing beams of spiritual energy from their weapons like certain Melee-type Zanpakutō. Other versions include a lightly armoured knight equipped with a spear, able to vastly enhance its own speed such that it could keep up with a master of Shunpo with ease. Completely unlike the other types of knights are a "mage"-like version, clad not in armour but in bulky hooded robes and carrying large tomes that act as a catalyst with which to fire attacks akin to Kidō spells.
    • Black Knight Arm (ブラック・ナイト・アーム, Burakku Naito Āmu): An unexplained phenomena that occurred during the confrontation between Peter and Musei Hyouketsu. The Shinigami Captain's exposure to a Black Knight caused a part of his body to be overtaken and transformed to match the knight in question. The arm matches the characteristics of a Black Knight in is entirety, durable beyond the strength of ordinary steel but its interior is entirely hollow, the man's real arm somehow entirely gone. The arm also affords Musei access to the unique strengths of the knight he fought, the summoning of its spear and augmentation of his speed to great heights.
  • The Green Knight (ザ・グリーン・ナイト, Za Gurīn Naito): Not Yet Revealed.
