The Tiro con L'arco (射撃課 (アーチェリー), Tīrō con Lārcō; Italian for "Archery", Japanese for "Marksmanship Division") is a small division, composed of Quincy, within the Impero's army.
Overview[]
Prior to its defeat by Raian Getsueikirite, it is lead by General Adolfo Benttino and, at first, Halberd Celeste Agostino, but after the latter's death, Asumu Godai takes over as Halberd. This group is primarily responsible for long-range fighting, though several of its members can also handle themselves at close range. Furthermore, the group is mostly made up of former members of the Vandenreich.
It appears Akujin tasked this division with the conquest of the Human World, personified in the fall of Rider City; the world's current spiritually enriched area.
Like within the ranks of the last Quincy operation, the Vandenreich, each member, in addition to the rank within the Impero, are each assigned a letter of the alphabet and an appropriate epithet by Akujin in order to designate them.
After its complete defeat by Raian, the division is restored by Akujin after Muramasa Neikan uses his Naigai project to revive the members of the Vandenreich to command the new group.
Maschera Arciere[]
The Maschera Arciere (空洞僧 (アーチャーマスク), Āchāmasuku; Italian for "Masked Archers", Japanese for "Hollow Monk") are a small sub-division of Tiro con L'arco. The sub-division was conceived by mad-scientist, and Quincy, Pietro Badoglio. Using various Hollowfication methods, he turned a small group of Quincy into Quincy-Hollow hybrids. Adolfo considers these Quincy to be abominations, as the original goal of the Quincy was to erase the Hollows, not become them. However, Akujin allowed it, as it served his purposes.
