The Philosophers (哲学者, Tetsugaku-sha), known later by the collective title of Seijin (聖人, Sage), where the group of Souls who preceded the Gotei 13. It was they who built the Seireitei and established the Noble clans of Soul Society. The group was brought together by Garian Shinjo and Anika Shihōin.
