Skinny Bone was a powerfull menos grande who acted between 100 and 20 years before Ichigo's adventures. This hollow had no official name, "Skiny Bone" was the name given by the shinigami Tsukira Anond after his assaut against the Rukongai.
Skinny Bone managed to evolved until the last state of Menos Grande especially because of his unatural and uncontrollable hunger. Due to the large amont of hollow he killed, Skinny Bone was feared within the Hueco Mundo.
Around 20 years before Ichigo's birth, Aizen managed to capture him and used his soul to create a new kind of hollow who possessed both hollow and shinigami's abilities.
Personality[]
Durung all his hollow life, Skinny Bone has been subjected to a deep hunger of souls. This hunger pushed him to ate a very large amount of living beigns with strong spiritual energy like others hollow or shinigami who cross his way. The only purpose of Skinny Bone was to achieve the final hollow state to hopefully make an end to his hunger.
Due to his hunger, Skinny Bone progressively loss his personality and his mind as he evolved. After he realized thag his hunger didn't disapeared when he became a Vasto Lorde, Skinny Bone complitely lost his mind. So as a Vasto Lorde he wasn't able to have any thought and only reacted with basic instincts. Moreover, since his transition to the final stage, Skinny Bone's scream is mixed with crying.
Skinny Bone was extremely violent against his congeners, eating every hollow he met to be able to evolved to the final state and end his endless hunger.
Skinny Bone never talked for an unknown reason even if he had the ability to speak.

Past[]
Only few things are known about Skinny Bone's past as a human being expet that he was a young man destined for a happy life. When he died at a young age, he despaired of not being able to know the happiness of his prospective life and turned into a Hollow. This regret of not having been able to lead his life to its end was at the origin of his overwhelming hunger as a hollow.
Hollow life[]

Skinny Bone became a hollow at the beginning of the 20 century. Always hungry of souls, he attacked other hollow and several shinigami. This behave allowed him to increase his power at a point he scared other powerfull hollows like Grand Fisher. Although Skinny Bone believed into his strength, he knew that he will be easily killed by shinigamis if they discover him and his strenght. So he took care to avoid every shinigamis group who approached to him and only attacked isolated targets. Nevertheless, despite the amout of souls he ate, his hunger never stopped.
At a some moment Skinny Bone became so powerful that the others hollow he ate fused with his soul. After absorbing thousands and thousands of hollow, Skinny Bone became a Menos Grande.
Gillian state[]

Skinny Bone, due to his strength kept his individuality during his gillian state. Within the Hueco Mundo, he continued to eat others hollow and Gillians. Because of the rampage he provoqued, the area of the Forest of Menos where he lived was emptied of its residents.
At a time, a shinigami patrol unit conducted a mission in the Hueco Mundo. This group was ambushed by Skinny bone who managed to kill every members of the patrol, including several officers.
Eating hollows and other Menos made Skinny Bone even more more stronger at a state where he was able to challange Adjuchas, hollows of a more advanced stage than his. However, his hunger became stronger through the time, and that despite the number of hollow he ate.
After few years he evolved himself into an Adjuchas.
Adjuchas[]

As an adjuchas, Skinny Bone wanted to evolved a last time and reach the final hollow form which allowed him to not be afraid by the regression of his power and stop his endless hunger. His strong power aloew him to leave the Forest of Menos to reach the surface of the Hueco Mundo where lives the strongest hollows.
At this time, Skinny Bone continued to carry out ambushes against other Menos Grande.
Vasto Lorde[]
Skinny reached the final level of hollow evolution by becoming a vasto Lorde.
Skinny Bone finally became a Vasto Lorde, but after experiencing satiety for a short time, his hunger came back even stronger than before. Losing his last hope, he lost his mind and the very last memories of his past life.
Consequently, Skinny Bone gone more mad that ever and killed every living beings who crossed his path. From this moment, Skinny attacked without distinction every hollow who crossed his way. The damage he caused within the Hueco Mundo was so significant that a group of Adjuchas was urged to unite and flee to Soul Society.
Rampage in the Runkongai[]

Due to an unkown reason, Skinny Bone was able to reach the Soul Society and began a rampage in the Rukongai. He managed to kill the captain of the 3rd Division who was commissioned to investigate the origin of the disappearance of many souls in this region of Rukongai. Due to that, several divisions were called to stop the threat caused by Skinny Bone. A team of the 11th division led by its lieutenant was the first one to encounter him. Skinny bone easely defeated the group and fought against the 11th division lieutenant, Tsukira Anond, who activated her Bankai. Despite most advanced speed skills and high level defensive techniques of the shinigami, Skinny Bone managed to overpowered and defeat her by cutting one of her legs.

However, because of the duration of the fight, several captains were able to reach the battelfield. Against the captains Sosuke Aizen and Retsu Unohana, Skinny Bone's instinct conducted him to flee to the Hueco Mundo.
This attack highly traumatized a large number of shinigamis. Moreover, a large part of the Rukongai outskirts were destroyed and never rebuilt.
Hunted by Sosuke Aizen[]
After a battle in the Rukongai, the captain Aizen Sosuke saw the potential of this menos to his experiments. Thus, he conducted a secret exedition in the Hueco Mundo with Gin Ichimaru and Kename Tosen. Even if the group was prepared to face the hollow, they were surprised to encounter him immediately after their arrival. Thanks to Aizen's intervention, the new captain Gin Ichimaru managed to survived a deadly attack from Skinny Bone. During the fight that followed, Skinny Bone managed to slightly hurt Aizen. However, the later was far more stronger than him, and managed to kill him without destroying his soul.

Skinny Bone reborned as White, an experimental hollow.
Skinny Bone's body and soul was kept by Aizen and his team top led new experiments on the hollowfication. Arond 20 years before Ichigo's birth, the hollow's body was fused with Tsukira Anond's soul and other shinigamis souls. The result was a hollow in a black armor with shinigamis skilled. Due to his appearance, Aizen called him "White".
However, during the merge prosses with the shinigamis souls, White lose a part of his former spiritual power that decreased his strenght. However, he was stil able to handle a fight and overwhelm against a shinigami captain who released his shikai.
Power and abilities[]
Immense spiritual power: By eating thousands of hollows during his all life, Skinny Bonne gained an immense reiatsu that alloew him to evolved at the Menos Grande state and later at the Vasto Lorde stage. As a Gillian, Skinny Bone had enought reiatsu to kill an Adjuchas with his cero.
As a Vasto Lorde, his spirituel power was largest than most of the Gotei 13 captains. His massive reiastsu allowed him to use it to hide his own spiritual pressure with the ambiant reiatsu in the Hueco Mundo to trap his preys.
His spirituel power was so strong that he was able to kill other hollows and menos grande only with his reiatsu. Owever, because of his madness, his control on his spiritual energy decreased over the time.
Reiatsu perception: Due to his immense spititual power, Skinny Bone is able to deploy his own reiatsu to spot every being with spiritual power which stands in his range. Moreover, Skinny Bone uses the the high concentration of Reishi of the Hueco Mundo athmosphere to sense its disturbances and locate other hollows at long distance.
Skinny Bone is able to match the speed of Tsukira Anond, a shunpo master.
Hight Speed: Since his base hollow state, Skinny Bone can move very quickly and overpass other shinigamis using shunpo. Even as a Gillian, he was still able to surprise shinigamis due to his speed and his ambush skills.
When he became a Vasto Lorde, Skinny Bone learned the Sonido technique by himself. Thanks to this technique he was fast enough to overpass many shinigami officers in speed.
Sword Master: Once a Vasto Lorde, Skinny Bone had blades instead of his hands and was able to handle them with the greatest dexterity. His sword skills was similar to the greatest shinigami's swordsmen.
Super-Fast Regeneration: Skinny Bone possesses the ability to instantly regenerate any wound and even a missing limb. This ability allowed him to survive from mortal injuries, such as when he attacked the Rukongai and where he survived against several Captain's Bankai.
Spiritual Worm: Skinny Bone can grow a hollow worm to attack his enemies at long range. This worm appeared since his evolution as a Menos Grande and can arise from any injury that he suffered. During his Adjuchas state, a spiritual worm was permanentely at the end of the tail.
Cero: Skinny Bone could firing a red cero which was charged between his horns. As a Vasto Lorde, this cero was strong enough to gravely wounded a captain tier shinigami or deeply damage his environment.
- Cero oscuras: By compressing his massive reiatsu, Skinny Bone is able to shoot a black Cero much more powerful than his regular Cero. One of this Cero oscuras was able to detroy a whole district of the Rukongai. Later, only the Aizen's Espada could reproduce this technique in their released state.
Bala: Skinny Bone is able to fire hardened spiritual pressure. His bala speed is extremely faster than his cero, allowing it to be fired in quick succession.
Negación: Skinny Bone is able to generate a light beam around his body which complitely isolates him from the outside. He uses this technique to run away from a fight he knows he can't win.
