Part III[]
Powers and Abilities[]
High Spiritual Power: As a Lieutenant-General of the Shuuten, Shimura boasts high spiritual power.
Kidō Expert: Shimura is skilled enough in the art of Kidō to be fit to rely upon it solely during battle situations. He is knowledgeable on at least some of the higher-numbered spells, and is equally skilled in all facets of Kidō usage.
Zanpakutō[]
Hebi (蛇, Serpent). Shimura's zanpakutō is sealed in the form of a bokken shaped like a traditional katana with a circular guard. He wears it in the traditional style as it his waist.
- Shikai: Hebi is released with the command "Shed your Skin".
- Shikai Special Ability: Hebi causes snakes to encircle Shimura, which act as an extension of his body. He can see through their eyes, communicate with them over vast distance, and also use them for attacking his enemies or for intercepting an attack. He can also create more simply by repeating the release command. The downside is that his zanpakutō is dissolved, which forces him to fall back on his skills in Hakuda and Kidō.
- Monuke (藻抜け, Shed Skin of Snake): a one-use only ability that only a few people are actually aware of. Using it Shimura can cheat death once. The technique sheds his skin, grows a second one, and fully restores Shimura to health.
- Bankai: Not yet Achieved.
