"I don't have the time to waste on students who don't want to learn. If this style doesn't meet your expectations of glamour, then you're welcome to find another teacher, or you can always learn the Hakuda method used by the Shinigami. This style wasn't designed to be wasted on students who want me to hold their hand through everything." |

Shōin Shiranui Style (松陰 不知火 流, Shōin Shiranui-ryū; Japanese for "Pine Trees in Darkness Unknown Light School") is a Hakuda style developed by Seireitou Kawahiru and is taught to all students of the Senjukuha. Despite being created by someone known throughout the Soul Society as the authority of Hakuda, the Shōin Shiranui Style is often criticized by other practitioners of the craft who view its overly simplistic techniques as worthless and useless.
