The Seishi (生侍, Seishi; meaning "Servers of Life") are an order of Quincy that broke away from the Lichtreich over a thousand years ago. They settled in Japan, blending themselves into their culture and society, and eventually founded the Seishi Order; adopting their own way of the Quincy. What remains of their order in the modern age exists in hiding as they avoid the watchful eyes of the Soul Society. Contrary to the Quincy from which they originated, the Seishi do not use Spirit Weapons based in archery but rather employ the use of a Soul Saber.
