Roberto is a fullbringer and a former member of the Xcution who is currently paired with a Tōjū. After finding out the organizations true motives, he left in disgusted in order to hunt hollows in his home city of Palermo where he met the Tōjū, Tsubasa no aru kishi. He owns and operates a small restaurant there as well.
Appearance[]
Roberto is an athletically built young man with bright green eyes and blonde hair. When he’s not dressed in his chefs uniform he typically wears either T-shirts or button down short sleeve shirts and denim jeans. Around his neck he wears a gold, polished, 18" Cornicello Horn Necklace, that he has had since birth and is the focus of his fullbring.
Personality[]
Roberto is a cheerful young man, who loves food and loves cooking especially for other people. There’s nothing he enjoys more been cooking a large meal and sharing it with other people, even complete strangers. When not running his restaurant he is usually at a homeless shelter cooking up a storm for those less fortunate. He has no hesitation in helping others in need and will do anything in his power to help them. Well he usually acts carefree and cheerful, he will get extremely serious when faced with danger and or betrayal. Roberto values loyalty above all else except for human life. He also has a deep sense of honor and will quickly turn on those whom he feels are trying to take advantage of other people. Betrayal is unacceptable for him, which is a part of the reason why left the Xcution. He is also a devout Catholic, believing that sooner or later God will strike down those with evil intentions. A believe that he expressed to his former comrades before leaving the organization.
History[]
- Childhood: Before Roberto was born, his mother was attacked by a hollow. While it is not clear on how long before he was born the attack was, the remnants of this hollow’s power was passed on to Roberto after his conception. At the time of his birth, he received the pendant that would later become the focus of his fullbring. From a very young age Roberto was able to see spirits, with some seeing it as a curse while others including the majority of his family saw it as a blessing from God. Because of his insight into the supernatural, many members of his church suggested that he should go into the priesthood when he was older. However, his true passion lied with cooking, showing great promise in the culinary arts from the time he was about five years old. He would frequently help his mother and father in the kitchen as they cooked and even helped improve on their own recipes. By the time he was 10, he had already won a number of cooking contest in his hometown.
- In spite of his culinary prowess, the world of the supernatural was far from done with them. While playing with a friend when he was 12, a Hollow attacked them, with his friend being terrified because he could not see what was happening. Roberto, with the desire to protect his friend grab the sharpest object he could reach at the time, the Cornicello Horn pendant on his necklace. Having been told by his mother that evil spirits will gore themselves on the horn, he attempted to stab the hollow. Believing in the power of his pendant, he manifested his fullbring for the first time as a blade of yellow spirit energy.
- Kūgo Ginjō and the Xcution: Roberto would not know the truth about his abilities for another six years, when the head priest of his church would introduce him to Kūgo Ginjō. After explaining to Roberto that those with high spiritual power can understand each other without needing to understand each other‘s language, Kūgo has Giriko give him some orange juice and explains that they are Fullbringers and what this entails, demonstrating his ability by having his drink float from the glass into Kūgo's mouth, much like he would do later with Ichigo. He also explains to Roberto the nature of Hollows and Shinigami, furthermore they wish to rid themselves of their unpleasant powers and by transferring their powers to a person who has the powers of both a Human and a Shinigami, they could become normal Humans. Roberto told him that he didn’t want to give up his powers, but simply be able to use them better to fight hollows and protect the people he cares about. Kūgo informed him that he respects that decision and that he can help him master his powers. Roberto reluctantly agreed go with Kūgo to Japan in order to master his powers.
- Upon arriving at the Xcution's base in Naruki City, Roberto quickly commented about dilapidated condition of the building. Kūgo assures him that in spite of the appearance the structure itself is quite safe. After entering the third floor, Roberto is amazed at that the building has such a spacious room immediately behind the dilapidated exterior. Kūgo explains that the main hideout was created through the demolition of much of the adjacent areas, specifically the five rooms to the left and the right, as well as the three floors both above and below. Further elaborates by telling him the significant reconstruction, the lavish furnishings which fill it, including the fully functioning bar and various other items of expensive furniture, were made possible by Yukio. Yukio then greets him along with the other members of the Xcution.
- As Roberto underwent the months of grueling training to master his fullbring, he happily cooked for the other members of the organization whom were amazed by his culinary prowess. He also became fast friends with Jackie Tristan, whom truly despised her powers. After hearing about the tragedy that befell her family, he took pity on the young woman. Roberto told her that well she might not like her powers, she should try and use them in order to make the world a better place. After spending months training with Kūgo, Tsukishima And Jackie with help from the other members of the Xcution, Roberto was finally able to complete and master his fullbring. Because of their close friendship, the only person he ever shared his fullbring with was Jackie, and she shared hers in return. It was also during this time that he bounded the soul of his pendant with his own. Something that Kūgo previously only considered theoretical as well as highly dangerous.
- However, Roberto would learn about Kūgo‘s True motives after overhearing a conversation late at night between him and Tsukishima about their plans for the new Substitute Shinigami, Ichigo Kurosaki. Disgusted by their treachery Roberto confronted the two whom attempted to recruit him to their cause. Refusing to have any part of their plan, Roberto attempted to leave, causing them to attack him in order to “tie up loose ends“. After a long and brutal battle, Roberto barely manage to defeat Kūgo and then Tsukishima, nearly killing the latter in the process before the other fullbringers could come to his aid. After learning the others were in on the plan the whole time, he berated all of them, warning them that God would strike them down if they continue down this path. He then left the organization and returned to his hometown in Palermo, Sicily.
- Returning home and meeting Tsubasa no aru kishi: After returning home, he confronted the priest who had facilitated the meeting between him and Kūgo, demanding to know if he knew about their machinations. Horrified, the priest assured him that he had no idea of their wicked intentions. Having known this man since childhood, Roberto believed him. Soon after, Roberto became in rolled in culinary school. As he worked to become a professional chef, he was forced to balance out his schoolwork with his self appointed duties as the guardian of his hometown. However he would soon find himself in the middle of the Tōjū Campaign, as rampaging Zanpakutō Spirits began running amok across both the living world and soul society. As a result of the presence of these powerful and out of control Zanpakutō Spirits, more hollows then usual began appearing order to try and feast upon these powerful beings. During a battle with a group of very large and powerful hollows, Roberto came in to contact with Tsubasa no aru kishi. Originally mistaking her for an angel, Tsubasa no aru kishi would very quickly clarify just who and what she was. Roberto, after hearing her story brought her back to his apartment to try and rest and recuperate. While she was grateful for his hospitality, she was extremely reluctant. She explained to Roberto that it was only a matter of time before she became a rampaging beast as well. Still, Roberto refuses to leave her to suffer. Even finding himself falling for the unfortunate spirit. However, as her condition began to worsen, Tsubasa started experiencing headaches. Only a few at first, but progressively they became worse and worse and occurred more often. At one point she involuntarily entered a meditative state where she would generate powerful gusts of wind from her wings and her body glowed with white Reiatsu. Desperate to save her, Roberto asked Tsubasa if there was anything that could be done to prevent her from becoming a full-fledged Tōjū. Reluctantly, she told him that it was possible that fusing with another being could stop the transformation, but there was also a chance that it could speed it up causing her to rampage in another’s body. However Roberto agreed to do so without question or her prompting him. Surprised by this, she asked Roberto if he was sure. Roberto told her that he was never more sure of anything in his life. Tsubasa no aru kishi then manifested her sealed Zanpakuto as Roberto activated his fullbring. After giving him one last chance to back out, the two press their blades together. In a swirl of white Reiatsu, The two of them use their powers together to fuse her with Roberto and his fullbring. After the melding was complete, Roberto was left in the room alone. However he soon began to hear Tsubasa no aru kishi communicate with him telepathically. Telling him that now they were fused together, he would be able to reach new heights. Heights that he would only dare to dream about. But the road ahead to reaching them would not be easy.

Powers & Abilities[]
Expert Swordsman: Roberto is skilled in swordsmanship, enough to defeat Kūgo Ginjō and then Tsukishima, nearly killing the latter. Tsukishima however was able to use his own fullbring, Book of the End to negate most of his injuries. It should be noted however that he is weary of doing this more than once because it would put him at risk of a mental breakdown. When Orihime restored Tsukishima's lost arm, he was able to subtly cut himself so that her ability would also restore the rest of his body permanently.
Enhanced Strength: Roberto has high degree of physical strength, allowing him to hold his large sword and wield it easily. He is able to use strength to hold a large Hollow on the ground by its head. Since fusing himself and his fullbring with Tsubasa no aru kishi, his Strength has increased even further. Through training in her inner world as well as continuing to train his physical body, he slowly began to remove physical barriers which enhanced his phyiscal attributes immensely.
Enhanced Speed, Agility & Reflexes: Roberto has remarkable speed; far above that of a normal Human being. Roberto is fast enough to keep up with and counter Tsukishima’s strikes, using bringer light to its fullest capabilities. Much like with his strength, his speed has increased even further since fusing himself and his fullbring with Tsubasa no aru kishi and training in her inner world as well as his physical body.

Fullbring[]
The Horn of Light:
Using Fullbring, Roberto is able to transform the Cornicello Horn pendant on his necklace into a large, Italian Long Sword. As such it’s designed so that the blade and balance slightly favor the thrust, while still being capable of delivering astonishingly effective cuts. It features a simple cruciform hilt, long, golden, upturned cross guard, a leather covered grip, and a heavy, gold counter-balancing fish tail pommel.
- Energy Blast: By gripping the handle of his sword with both hands, Roberto can generate large amounts of gold Reiryoku which sheathes itself over the blade. He may fire this blast in one of two ways: either by simply pointing the tip of his sword at the intended target or by swinging the sword at his desired target, similar to Ichigo's Getsuga Tenshō.
Zanpakuto[]
Tsubasa no Aru Kishi:(翼のある騎士, lit. Winged Knight) Roberto raises the The Horn of Light above his head and releases it with the command “Strike from the heavens”. Upon release, the sword becomes virtually weightless, as noted by Roberto the first time he did so. Before fusing with his Fullbring it’s unreleased state what is that of a standard katana
Shikai: While the blade of the sword remains unchanged, other aspects of the sword change substantially. The long, golden, upturned cross guard transforms into a pair of golden wings that come together in the center where the head and body of an eagle are molded in exquisite detail. The handle becomes katana styled with purple wrappings, however the gold counterweight still remains at the pommel.
Shikai Special Ability: In it’s Shikai state, Tsubasa no Aru Kishi displays a number of new abilities:
- Enhanced Energy Blast: Roberto‘s Energy blast becomes far more potent in this form, it’s destructive capacity increasing dramatically. In this state can easily destroy multiple hollows with ease.
- Powerful Wind Generation: In it’s released state, Tsubasa no Aru Kishi can generate powerful gusts of wind. They can either unbalance an opponent or knock them off of their feet completely. The gale force winds can become so powerful that they can blow full grown adults as well as medium to large size hollows backward several feet.
- Kazakiri: (風切り, lit. Wind slash) This technique allows Roberto to create and fire, feather like blades of spiritual energy from his sword, usually this is accompanied by the aforementioned powerful gusts of wind Tsubasa no Aru Kishi can generate. This powerful combination serves to both damage and disoriented and enemy, either setting them up for a killing blow or distracting them for long enough for a quick escape.
