This article, Rise and Fall of Legends arc, is the penultimate arc of Part III of Bleach (Kenji Hiroshi) and details the events surrounding Oda Kōhai's rise, as well as the return of an old face immediately following the crisis. It was written by Kenji-Taichō and is part of the Bleach: War of the Worlds era, which began with Part II and ends at the conclusion of Part III. This particular arc, which features numerous POV characters, deals specifically with the trials and tribulations of Kenji and Kusaka, Itazura and Rosuto and finally Ryan, Miria and Echo as one and all go to Heisekai for differing reasons.
This arc is followed by the final chapter of Part III, which is the Second Coming of Averian arc.

- This plot-line was originally referred to as the Restoration Saga and had a very different plot; specifically it dealt with the return of Kusaka's spiritual powers and Itazura's solo struggle against Oda.
