Reyessa Elianna Eguzkiñe (レイエサ・エリアナ・エグズカイン, Reiesa Eriana Eguzukain), preferring to go by Rey (レイ, Rei) is an artificial soul in the form of an Arrancar. With data collected from Project Spearhead, she was designed and created by Girado La Rissa. Her soul is a "composite", made out of the remnants of many other Hollow, the most prominent of which is a former ruler of Hueco Mundo, Alta Reina.
Given free reign to live as she saw fit by her creator, she had wandered the sands of the Land of Hollows in search of a purpose for her being, and the powers she has inherited. She has had many teachers to that end, such as the legendary Arrancar, Sakaala and even her own eventual Fracción.
Appearance[]
Reyessa is an exceedingly tall woman of pale countenance and slender frame built upon tightly packed musculature. She has long blue hair in a rather muted shade, it runs down the entire length of her back even whilst tied into a flowing tail raised slightly over head. A set of strands run along either side of her face to rest on her chest, whilst her bangs fan out over the left, covering her eye on that side. She has slim if relatively pointed features to her face with a long, sharp eyes framed by intense lashes and thin, stern brows. Her nose is thin but stubbed and her lips are painted with a blue pigmentation that matches her hair and the colour of her eyes. Her hollow mask fragments are hidden beneath her hair, starting out as a simple frame that rests under her left eye, it runs the length of her head, running down to her neck where it flows into a carapace that runs the length of her spine. Much of this is hidden beneath her clothing, made up of a lowcut open jacket with a high collar and no sleeves, made out of black cloth with a blue trim. A simple grey vest is worn beneath this covering her chest and partially obscuring her hollow hole which rests beneath her breasts. She combines this with a pair of simple black shorts and boots that imitate the design of the Espada's zōri, with the white portions omitted.
Personality[]
The best way to describe Reyessa is severe. As a Hollow it is no surprise that she is quite aggressive, however, it is further worsened by the fact that she sees her actions as completely neutral. Her body language and aggressive countenance, compounded by the fact that she is fairly curt when speaking, gives the impression that she is angry at all times, creating misunderstandings between herself and others. Straight as an arrow, Reyessa is completely lost when it comes to tact and humour, concepts not only rarely seen in Hueco Mundo, but also hopelessly tainted by Girado La Rissa or so she claims. In addition to her so-called casual aggressiveness, she is blunt and unrestrained, and sees little value in a hierarchy of peers. As such, she eschews the concept of honourific in reference to those around her, and will completely forgo titles, believing that such things are meaningless where a name will suffice.
Reyessa is incredibly straightforward, she sees what she wants and goes after it. She sees an immediate solution and pursues it, regardless of whether there are better (and safer) options to use. She is single-mindedly driven in pursuit of her goals, which grants her a great deal of temperance. Though she may sometimes appear melancholic over her lack of purpose, the very discovery of such is what she uses to drive herself forward. Unerringly, she has hunted down the answers to why she exists and what she can do to find fulfilment, even going so far as to trek the endless sands of her homeland in search of Sakaala, an ancient Arrancar war leader. Though she had no direct clues to find him, she did so anyway, though he could've crushed her like an insignificant flea, she pressed upon him until he accepted her as his apprentice. Like a hammer to a nail, she gives absolutely no thought to the future and is entirely deadset on her "now".
History[]
Though Reyessa herself is not that old in relative terms, the parts that make up her soul and thus, those responsible for her coming into being go back a long ways, all beginning with Girado La Rissa.
Roughly 1,000 years ago, following Alta Reina's death at the hands of the Thirteenth Division captain, Seia, though she was slain by a Zanpakutō, her power was so great that the time it would take for her soul to be purified was astronomical, and as such, her ambient Reiatsu, surrounding the place she died, lingered. Many weak Hollows would gravitate to her burial ground, the ruins of Las Torres, nurturing themselves on her decaying spiritual power. Girado happened upon this place, and with an idea in mind, captured many of these nascent Hollow, intent on experimenting on them.
As Hollow are wont to do, these captive creatures eventually turned on one another, not quite becoming a Menos Grande when the last of them stood, having devoured the others, though it could never escape the confines within which Girado kept it. The scientist never found a purpose for his wayward experiment, ultimately forgetting about it until many, many years later when opportunity struck.
Sōsuke Aizen had created an army of Arrancar, their birth empowered by the Hōgyoku, with which he sought to wage war on Soul Society, pitting this Hollow armada against the Gotei 13. Girado, already a natural-born Arrancar, joined Aizen, though he had no interest in the conflict itself. He used this gathering of individuals to improve upon himself and his scientific endeavours, something that saw much benefit from like minds such as Szayelaporro Granz.
During his time in Las Noches, Girado would come to find many of the Espada possessed qualities that he likened "to that of a king". He had an epiphany through these encounters, and at last remembered his old experiment. In the wake of the White Invasion, Girado managed to obtain fragments of those Espada that espoused the qualities he had seen. A broken part of Tier Harribel's mask. "Shreds" of the souls of Coyote Starrk and Baraggan Louisenbairn.
With knowledge he had obtained from his forays to Soul Society, he was able to able to combine these disparate fragments in a newly created soul of his own design. At the same time, this fusion was enough for the original soul to become a Gillian, though where it would fall on the scale is unknown, immediately placed into an artificial body — a Reigai — that took the visage of an Arrancar, Hollow hole, mask fragments and all.
Girado named this artificial construct of his, Reyessa.
She did not come into being with any great impetus, her mask fragments emerged on her face, the Hollow hole replaced the flesh in its place. Her sword, a Zanpakutō, appeared nearby, as if wishing itself into being just out of eyeshot of any onlookers. Reyessa awoke with the light sigh of her first breath, and just like that she was brought into the fold of Girado's Fracción.
She spent several years in their care, learning about what it meant to be a Hollow, how to fight, and how to live. One day, when she finally managed to best Zankken Javan in one of their daily matches, she realised what she was missing was a "purpose". Asking Girado about it, he simply left her with the idea that it was for her to find out, and so she did, leaving his care to find herself some meaning to her existence.

Imitación (偽 (イミターシン), Imitāshion; Spanish for "Imitation"; Japanese for "The False One") takes the form of a large nagamaki that is 47.2 inches (120cm) in length, evenly split between the blade and its hilt. The long hilt is black with a typical gold interior, formed into diamond shapes that run across its body, the typical style wrap of a japanese sword. The middle of the hilt is additionally covered by a white tsukamaki wrap, though it is not perfectly wrapped leading to two, long, loose trails of cloth to hang past the sword's end. The blade itself is indented with three small holes on the blade's interior side, close to the habaki. Roughly half way across the blade, it hollows out, leaving only the edges intact. Due to the manner in which Reyessa came to be, she is not able to unleash its power, for she doesn't know what her own powers would be. After training with Sakaala, he revealed that its true name is Guepardo (紋判事獅子 (ゲパルド), Geparudo; Spanish for "Cheetah"; Japanese for "Crested Judge Lioness"), though she has still yet to awaken its power.

Fracción[]
Though she was never a part of Sōsuke Aizen's army, her meeting with the Errázuriz twins in the halls of Las Noches left her adopting them as her followers, which they claimed made them her Fracción. Reyessa has never tried to argue or distinguish the usage of the term, allowing the pair to claim what they please.
- Amadis Errázuriz (アマディス・エラソーレース, Amadisu Erasōrēsu): A seemingly shy and quiet Arrancar with power to judge those who have committed sins in their lives. She has been waiting a long time for a ruler to claim the "rightful" throne of Hueco Mundo, claiming that Reyessa is just such a person. Though Reyessa refused the throne, Amadis nonetheless decided to follow her.
- Oriana Errázuriz (オリアーナ・エラソーレース, Oriāna Erasōrēsu): A bright Arrancar with power to judge those who have committed great deeds in their lives. Alongside her twin, she has waited for the next rightful ruler of Hueco Mundo to appear, whom she believes Reyessa to be. Together with her sister, she serves their "king".
