Oda Shihōin (四楓院 織田, Shihōin Oda) is the Captain of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13 and the 12th Kenpachi, who was appointed to the position after the Thousand Year Blood War.
Appearance[]
Oda wears the traditional Captain's Haori to denote his status, but does not wear the Shiakusho because it would interfere with the abilities of his Zanpakutō's abilities. He is a tall man with a dark complexion with blond hair, which is incredibly rare for the Shihōin clan, who typically have black or brown hair. In lieu of the traditional Shiakusho, Oda wears short black pants with a green sash, which are being kept on by a belt with the face of a lion on it. He wears white sandals, which are different from the sandals Shinigami normally wear. As he is the Captain of the 11th Division, Oda is in peak physical condition and is incredibly muscular.
Personality[]
As befits his title of Kenpachi, Oda is a boisterous and outspoken man. He is often the most vocal in Captains' meetings and is infamous for speaking his mind, regardless of the consequences. He prefers to solve problems with his fists and his sword rather than through talking, which he views as a waste of his time. Oda does not give up easily and is willing to fight even if the odds are obviously not in his favor. His immense desire to win drives him, and is often seen entering in, and winning, strength contests throughout the Sereitei. He spends most of his spare time training or sparring with fellow members of the 11th Division.
