"I loathe perfection. If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for imagination. No place left for a person to gain additional knowledge or abilities. Do you know what that means? For scientists such as ourselves, perfection only brings despair."

— The cold, relentless north that preserves a natural barrier of society to society. Whether it holds any sort of life is a mystery, for not many willingly tread to its frozen grasp...

Namajiroi Minemine (なまじろいみねみね namajiroi minemine ; Eng Lit Translation, "Pale Peaks,") is the mountainious landscapes bordering the Land of Aether, and the Cracked Valley, that serves as the boundry between the Seireitei Soul Society and the other southwestern lands. It is also home to the reclusive Meet citadel and its deep underground ice cavern corridors.

The Mountains - Namajiroi Minemine's mountains are of high altitudes with deep snow drifts and plains, sometimes having some go as high as several kilometers, making passing through the atmosphere above or on foot incredibly frigid and longbearing. Remnants of towers and lookout posts can be seen frozen over and buried within the deep wafts of frozen water within the tall peaks, showing that at one point in time the peaks were once populated and used for militaristic vantage points.

The Ice Lakes - Within the clusters of robust, rigorous mountains lies a set of frozen lakes that lie dammed within the heavily frozen and high altitude regions of the peaks. They can often be seen sparsely populated by passing caravans and vagabond groups, mostly assumed as either lowly criminals or exiles of a society passing through to seek refuge beyond the harsh cold climate they have to trek through.

Hyōkaitake Jōsai (氷海嶽城塞 hyoukai take jousai ; Eng Lit Translation, "Frozen Peak Fortress,") - A particular frozen valley that lies within the most secluded and hidden area of Namajiroi Minemine. This title refers to a magnificent and ancient crystalized castle network that spans with underground cultivated masonry and ice tunnels to another one identical to it. Traversing this line of pattern to nearly half way around the peaks of Namajiroi Minemine, making it one of the best strategically placed areas for the Meet of the Sect to occur.
