Powers and abilities[]
High Spiritual Energy: As a former Lieutenant in her worlds Gotei 13, Miyoko possesses high levels of spiritual energy.
Kidō Expertise: Miyoko's skill in Kidō extends to Bakudō and Kaidō; the former, especially, is particularly powerful. She can perform Bakudō spells by calling only the name and still retain a good deal of strength, though higher-tiered spells seem to tier her out quickly. She was left noticeably winded after casting Bakudō #79. Kuyō Shibari without incantation. As a practitioner of ancient Keidō, which is viewed as the precursor to modern Kidō, Miyoko utilizes elements of this old form in her spells; it is for this reason she does not practice Hadō, instead performing the elemental effects of Keidō.
Zanjutsu: Miyoko's skill in swordsmanship is evident. Although preferring the use of Kidō in battle she possessed the necessary level of skill to temporarily cross blades with her fellow Lieutenants.
Hakuda Expertise: Miyoko demonstrated a lithe and highly acrobatic form of Hakuda that incorporated powerful kicks coupled with an off-the-ground approach. Her true aptitude lay in hand-to-hand combat; Miyoko was a practitioner of the ancient Keidō form, having mastered all four branch-styles.
Hohō Expertise: Miyoko's Hakuda style employed an off-the-ground approach, requiring Miyoko to be in constant motion. Her skill in high-speed movement was thus notably high, even amongst her fellow Lieutenants.
