  • I'm sorry to bother you again but I could use more information about wand types and how I can apply it to my character.

      Loading editor
    • They're just mediums for the use of magic, like most wands in fiction, but they are often used similar to magic guns in actual combat. That's all I have right now, since as I said before, I'm waiting on the Burn the Witch serialization before going all in with my West Branch ideas.

        Loading editor
    • Okay, I'll keep that in mind. I want to have a witch in my story, and it's hard not having a lot of information about the Western branch.

  • Are we working on the same principle as the eastern branch's zanpakuto or do they use an entirely different system of categorization?

      Loading editor
    • I've envisioned it as being a completely different system. Probably something akin to Harry Potter wands. But I've been holding back on details since we're supposed to get the Burn the Witch serialization this summer, so I'm hoping it'll get brought up in some way.

  • I’m looking for a kenpachi character who looks like Gildarts Clive from fairy tail. Anybody know who that is?

  • I was wondering if I could use your interpretation of witches and wizards and some thing that I'm planning. There really isn't a lot of information about the Western branch of soul society in general and I would like to have a witch character for the story that I'm planning. All of your concepts and information will be linked in the article and I will give you credit for your fan interpretation. However if you say no I will understand, but I thought I would ask first instead of not doing so and getting banned later.

    • Sure, that's fine by me. But bear in mind that I tend to change my stuff a lot, usually when I feel like I've come up with something better to replace my original idea, so things might change around from the time you start using it to later on, so just keep it in mind.

    • Okay, thanks! I'll try to keep up with your changes! :)

  • Hello, I am wanting to start making a character and I was wanting to know what restrictions their are? Also how would start/join a Role-play on this wiki?

      Loading editor
    • Hey there. So basically, you'll wanna give the Manual of Style a look-through just to see how we organize our articles. If you don't wanna read through all of that, then I suggest looking at some of the character articles up on the site, like Iyori Mochizuki, which will show you how we expect character articles to be organized. Length doesn't matter, you can write as much or as little as you want, but we simply ask for neatness and organization above all else.

In terms of starting or joining a RP, that comes down to messaging people on the site and seeing if they wanna discuss something with you. Right now, the pickings are slim because most of our users are busy dealing with school and whatnot, but I'm sure you can find someone around here. Just go to their message wall like you did mine, and just ask them that way.

We do have a sitewide project called the Fanon Canon that's open to all BFF users, but that is currently on pause as we figure some stuff out, so once that starts up again, you're welcome to join in on that too.

We also have a discord, which I believe you can access from the right-hand side of the screen, it should be visible depending on what browser you're using. Otherwise if you can't find it, let me know and I'll send you a link.

I hope you enjoy your time here, welcome aboard

  • Hello, uh I noticed one of my pages had some issue. https://bleachfanfiction.fandom.com/wiki/Hiru I honestly forgot I made this character being I thought of a story to make him...but kind of got distracted by other things. Could you let me know what exactly I did wrong?

    • Sorry for the (very) late reply, I've been crazy busy. I can leave your stuff up in case you change your mind. Wiki can be a little intimidating at first but once you get used to it, you'll find it to be a far greater place for your articles and work than DA. Between you and me, DA is absolute garbage. Not that wiki is exactly the center of the most literate writing either, but... Anyways. Like I said, if you change your mind, you're always welcome here. And we're always willing to help as best as we can.

    • thank you for the words, but I've grown up with DA so I just feel better with it.

For the time being, would you be open to me tweaking site CSS to remove transparency from <pre> tags? The current CSS is making pages such as this illegible. Let me know what you think!

    • Anyway, removing the transparency from the CSS backgrounds sounds great to me. I tried to do that manually on the CSS page but uh, wasn't successful. Not sure what the <pre> tags does exactly besides the backgrounds on the JS code pages, if that's the main thing you wanted to fix. I also removed that bleach answer line but didn't submit for approval.
Awesome, I'll see about fixing that CSS for you after dinner if possible. I can also submit that code update for approval if you like, it was done properly.
The current, biggest issue with our CSS is that it happens to be a copy/paste clusterfuck from various different wikis all cobbled together on one page. Somehow it works, but the guy who set it all up is an inactive user. He came back around a year ago and changed a bunch of stuff that I'm unaware of before he left again. One example I do know of, because it's visible, are that subheadings on articles show up as red for some reason, and I don't know how to switch it back to blue. As for the rest of it I have no idea where he put stuff or how he set stuff up. I know a little about CSS but not enough to know where stuff ACTUALLY IS, for example the color code/gradient for our main page module templates.
I specialize in CSS, so I can help with this if you want me to. As for where it is located, it is located in the MediaWiki:Common.css & MediaWiki:Wikia.css files, & you can find the exact code affecting a given element via Inspect Element in a browser's developer tools. I can help you use those if you are not familiar.
At any rate, I understand that you guys are trying to switch everything over to a unified MediaWiki platform. I'm not exactly sure what the difference between our current CSS and that would be, but I am open to a complete overhaul of the CSS in order to get everything up to standard. Just let me know what the biggest changes that need to be made are, and we can start working towards that.
Yes, for this reason it may be best to hold off on massive overhauls until the transition is done, then we can rebuild the CSS & skin to look like however you want it to look from scratch. Does that sound good?
Looking forward to communicating with you in the future, and thanks again for your help/reaching out to us!
      No problem!

  • Hi, I am wondering if you all still do roleplays in general. I stumbled across this site a couple months ago (lurking), and I found what you all are doing to be awesome. I have been roleplaying for years, however I find myself at a bit of a loss for good roleplays. I am a big fan of bleach, I've seen all the anime arcs and read through the Thousand Year War Blood Arc as it came out. If you would like, I could give you some OCs from previous roleplays I've done to show their quality (and improve if necessary). The site said if I wanted to join up, I'd have to message an admin, so if this reaches you or any of the admin, I'd appreciate your consideration and I thank you for reading this.

Add On: At this time I'm on the Discord server, but I'm in the holding room. Figured I would still post this for formality's sake.

    • Right now, there's a few of us active due to real life commitments and other reasons like that, but yes we definitely do roleplay here. We have (had) an ongoing sitewide roleplay going, but that is currently on hold until we all return to it. That said, you have no need to receive permission from the admins to join the site; that's a weird message honestly, I'll have to change it. You are free to join in and start writing articles whenever you're ready, we just ask that you follow our Manual of Style. Basically, we just want to see organization and neatness with articles. Beyond that, we don't really have any restrictions when it comes to content, but try not to go overboard.

If someone doesn't verify you, I'll be sure to verify you in a moment myself. Sorry about that.

  • Planning on making a Zanpakuto named Kyubitsuro (Empty Fox or Empty Nine-Tailed Fox), a Zanpakuto created from the fusion of a Fullbring oc I made that I might create on here, thus making it also this characters Shinigami and Hollow powers fused into one. Its' release command is "Devour all in sight!" and it's abilities based off this incantation and his Hollow nature is to devour the spirit energy of any spiritual being and/or artifact and assimilate his energy and power into it's own. It's limit is if it devours some spirit energy of a Zanpakuto it cracks it gains it's element (But it will only obtain one element), but the element won't be strong as the original because it's not its' on ability plus the Zanpakuto isn't a elemental type it's more of a fanmade Hollow-Type Zanpakuto I'm creating. Due to it's Hollow heritage the Zanpakuto goes through the evolution of menos as an Asauchi it starts off as a regular Hollow, as it devours more Hollow spirit energy it becomes a Asauchi-Menos, but when it's master awakens its' shikai it takes the form of a masked Nine-Tailed Fox, but also due to its' master entering Hell to save his lover the air of Hell guided the Zanpakuto to a new power (If we take Shawlong Koufang's theory about Vasto Lorde evolution into consideration) to evolve into a Vasto Lorde thus giving it a humanoid form in its' manifested Shikai form. While for it's bankai the Zanpakuto takes a form similar to that of an Arrancar where its' fighting techniques become more Arrancar like then regular Zanpakuto.
