I wanted to say it's been awhile.... now that I have. Lol. I will get to the point. I am remaking the Senjungami race that Mushoku Kaigan down to their name as a race being changed. Any ideas would help.
OK, for some reason, my comp isn't playing nice with the chatsite. I'll have to say that this is good night. I'll run some checks on my PC to see what went wrong. In the meantime, I'll read and review the Other World Saga story you've posted during my time tomorrow.
I wanted to ask you something. I describe my Kaigan clan Mushoku's family, similar to the Uchiha. A clan that values love, friendship, trust, etc more so than others. However, I working on how to make it my own, and this is my idea. The clan has such profound mental strength, that they want to share the postive feelings of love, friendship, trust, etc with others. It's own of the reason, Kotoamatsukami was discovered and developemented. However, the moment of betrayal or if the valued aspected is taken away, like a lover or friend. Then, their minds produce far more hate to where it goes into endless hate. After all, their four clan Blood-limited maho represent this.
1. Kotomatsukami, produces realities so it, possible to produce one, that shares these feelings.
2. Tenmon Ametsuchi Heki, is the mental wall to protects from mind reading etc. So it protects there feelings.
3. Kenran Higureyume, produces a victims greatest fantasy as the illusion in their mind. So it allows others to understand such postive feelings like happiness.
4. Shijun, removes where it caught in it's space-time barrier completely, and is immensely hard to not be absorbed into it once caught. So it protects whatever a clan member values, with removing the problem from the world entirely.
The major flaw I find that they have is that a member of the Kaigan would have a hard time forgiving anyone who has wronged them. It seems like that their primary drive would be to create their own personal utopias through their own strength. Escaping from the harsh realities of the world is not exactly courageous or admirable. It only shows that fear rules them. Fear of rejection. Fear of the truth being revealed. Fear of the world that they know changing before their eyes. Fear of losing those closest to them. Emotionally speaking, the Kaigan are very fragile from what you have told me. Their powers are incredible, yes. I just cannot see them becoming more than just weavers of dreams.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bash on the Kaigan. In fact, it would be interesting to see a Kaigan who has the capacity to forgive someone who has wronged him or her greatly and how their powers would be affected by that.
Twi, on mobile. Maybe a bit. But like I said there mental strength, is so powerful. That positive feeling like how you feel over friends, lovers or loved ones, or even ideals like trust. To them are rather like winning the Lottery. So imaged how they would feel if someone they really trusted, betrayed them. Or a lover or loved one was killed. The negative or hate would be endless and so painful. But that is why Mushoku is emotionless. He has completely freed himself from this restriction.
