Mareyo Ōmaeda (大前田希代, Ōmaeda Mareyo) is a Shinigami, and the current acting Fifth Seat of the Second Division, as well as the only surviving member of the Ōmaeda Clan after they were wiped out by Vengeance, a servant of a local crime lord named Shigenaga Arma. Despite her position as the Fifth Seat, she is the personal apprentice of Suì-Fēng, who sees great potential in Mareyo, and intends for her to one day be her successor.
