The Kizokugai (貴族街, "noble quarter") is the section within Seireitei where nobles, such as the Four Noble Families (四大貴族, Yondai Kizoku; lit. "Four Great Noble Families") reside. It is defined by zones known as wards.

Overview[]

The Kizokugai is an area within the Seireitei where nobles reside. It is defined by mansions, high-class restaurants, and exclusive establishments.[1] The Kizokugai comprises the eastern sixth ward, which is overseen by the Kuchiki Family. Because the head of the Kuchiki clan has shouldered the responsibility of being the 6th Division captain for generations, the 6th Division's headquarters also exist in the 6th sector and have attracted various wealthy shops that sell fine goods.

The general populace is prohibited from entering the central block of the Kizokugai without an invitation or formal permission.[1] The central block is restricted to the upper class nobility and their exclusive facilities, such as the Shinō Seyakuin (Central Pharmaceutical Institution).
