Kikyo Amatsukami (天津神桔梗, Amatsukami Kikyo; lit. meaning "Chinese Bellflower of the Heavenly Gods ") is the Marshal of the Ring of Four and the former Captain of the Gotei 13's Fourth Division. Known for her kindness, mastery of all healing Kido, and strength in combat, she's been called Ame no Ohabari (天の尾羽張, lit. translated to "Tail Feathers of Heaven"). Her former partner was Shinji Yamashin, who shortly died after his departure. She's a supporting character in the storyline Bleach: Roaring Conflict.
Appearence[]
Kikyo is a woman known for her gentle appearence, similar to that of a princess from a castle. She has been adored for this specific fact to the point that people call her "princess" (姫, hime) instead of "captain"(隊長, taicho), something she doesn't mind.
She has gentle and baby-soft skin, brown eyes and brown hair tied in a ponytail. It's held together by a special cloth that has the same quality as sekki-sekki. It's her most prized possession. While on her duty, she wears the normal shihakusho and captain's haori. This look doesn't change, even when she joined the Royal Guard.

- Her ephitet comes from the Japanese weapon, Ame no Ohabari, who's name is another for the Totsuka no Tsurugi, the legendary sword used by Izanagi to kill Hi no Kagutsuchi and used by Susano-o to kill Yamata no Orochi.
