Kain Akai (ケイン赤い, Akai Kane, meaning Red Kane), known as the Lord of Chaos (混乱の領主, Konran no Ryōshu) in criminal circles, is a Yousojin, an information broker, trained assassin, and part-time herbalist. He is also the owner of the Leaping Lion bar and a good friend of Itazura's. Following the Collapse he was rescued from the clutches of Sakae Kisaragi by Itazura and Mariko, and subsequently joined the Blades of Night's Veil.
