Jigoku Shishiyama (獅子山地獄, Shishiyama Jigoku; lit. meaning "Lion Mountain of Hell") is the current Marshal of the Ring of Five and the Kidō Corps Commander and Grand Kidō Chief of the Kido Corps. He was also one of the most powerful Kido-type users in all of the Soul Society, being the forefounder in the art. His former partner was Takashi Atsuikuro, who was killed shortly after he joined the Royal Guard. His current partner is Jin Amahagane. Despite his cold appearence, he has a "heart-of-gold". He's one of the supporting characters of the storyline, Bleach: Roaring Conflict.
Appearence[]
Jigoku has long silver hair, covering his left eye, and brown eyes. His facial expression is mostly neutral and serious, as he only speaks or shows emotions when absolutely necessary. He wears his Zanpakutō on his back in a similar way how Rangiku Matsumoto carries hers. In a pouch beneath his haori, he carries a variety of weapons, ranging from shuriken and kunai, that he uses in the middle of a battle.
Before his promotion to Grand Kidō Chief, Jigoku wore simple clothes, and was mostly dressed in neutral colors such as brown and gray. During his time as Grand Kidō Cheif, he wore the standard Shinigami robes with an ornate dark blue robe with a large upturned collar and the symbol of the Kidō Corps on it.
