Jīnwū (金烏, Jīnwū; literally "golden crow") is one of the Xìnrénlèi under Mūkade's command, representing Orihime Inoue and Yasutora Sado's mutual desires to gain the strength to fight. He is depicted as Raian Getsueikirite's main antagonist in the upcoming stories.

Jīnwū is shown to be very different from the other Xìnrénlèi, in that unlike the others, who are more selective in following Mūkade's orders, Jīnwū follows his orders to the letter. He shows a remarkable loyalty to Mūkade, and as a result, is considered by the former as the most reliable of the Xìnrénlèi under Mūkade's command. Jīnwū is depicted as rather cold and calculating, though still a far cry away from nihilistic, as he displays particular emotions during battle, but none such as anger nor surprise. If anything, the emotions he portrays are ones of disappointment, sarcasm, and the like. Because of this, Jīnwū is constantly at odds with Táowù, who in absolute contrast to Jīnwū, is lazy and rather incompetent in regards to following orders. Despite this, it seems they share a mutual respect for one another, and speak highly of eachother; a quality that could be noticed in both of the aforementioned Xìnrénlèi's counterparts, Raian Getsueikirite and Seireitou Kawahiru.

Both in his allies and opponents, Jīnwū has very little tolerance for weakness and self-doubt, and goes as far as to sadistically torture both aforementioned parties to the edge of mental breakdown, finding amusement in this. When confronting an opponent whom is worthy of praise in his eyes, unlike most other Xìnrénlèi besides Táowù, Jīnwū is not above complimenting their abilities, examples being Raian for being able to force him to draw his Zanpakutō, or Minato Kuramoto for awakening his powers far sooner than expected. While he has obviously become jaded regarding the abilities of those around him, he is capable of recognizing talent. Because of this, Jīnwū is very grounded, despite his own immense power, even going as far as admitting that he has a personal desire to see Raian become stronger and be able to match the former's own power.
