Itsuki Matsuoka Is a Human and a Spirit Medium who resides in the Human World, in Karakura Town's Mitsumiya Apartment Complex in the western part of the town.
Appearance[]
Itsuki appears as a relatively muscular man of Japanese descent who is in his mid 20's. He is of an average height and has a near perfect fat to muscle ratio, appearing to be noticeably athletic and physically fit. He has short and spiky black hair which is generally left in a messy state, with his fringe stopping just above his eyes, which are amber in colour and are down turned. Itsuki's nose is rather small and is sharply angled near it's end and his jawline is sharp and well defined.
Itsuki typically wears formal, but also comfortable clothes in his free time usually, his typical attire consists of a black button up shirt along with black trousers and finally either black dress shoes or a pair of dark grey trainers. Additionally, Itsuki's work attire consists of a similar, but while button up shirt which has his store's logo emblazoned onto the left breast pocket of the shirt along with black trousers and plain black shoes. Finally Itsuki carries with him a rather old fashioned wrist watch that was originally his father's, the watch itself serving as the object he channels his spiritual power through to enable his abilities.
Personality[]
Being known as a very diligent an dedicated person who often strives to achieve and grow at all costs, Itsuki often prides in acting as a mature and serious individual who tries to further himself constantly. He normally tries to converse with others on a regular basis and tries to give people respect whenever he can, though at times of great stress or anger, Itsuki can be rather cold and unresponsive to people that shows dislike to, despite his best attempts to restrain it. As Itsuki wants to keep advancing himself and improving his skills, he often becomes incredibly annoyed whenever he is hindered in doing so, either by his own doing, or by the intervention of another, during which, Itsuki generally starts becoming angry with himself or other people, losing his temper when he is pushed too far and acting in a volatile and sometimes even aggressive way.
While he is often driven to become better, Itsuki is capable of relaxing and civil with others at times, putting aside his own goals to help or merely casually talk with others, usually knowing when to stop obsessing about self improvement when in a calming and relaxed situation, though while being able to do this Itsuki's want of improvement still crops up rather randomly during casual conversation, which more often than not ends up confusing the person he is conversing with. Itsuki used to pay little attention to his Spiritual Awareness, having been used to seeing Pluses from a younger age. However, after the awakening of his powers, Itsuki started to find that ignoring his awareness became harder, eventually causing him to be constantly aware of the spiritual activity in the Human World.
During battle, Itsuki often portrays a cool and sometimes even intimidating demeanor, however his emotions can often be swayed before fights, though his fighting ability on his own changes only slightly. However, depending on his mood, Itsuki's powers can change drastically, the powers altering whenever his mood switches from positive to negative and vice versa. Itsuki's hobbies include doing anaerobic exercise as well as participating in self defence courses, additionally, Itsuki enjoys spending time in a civilian authorised shooting gallery and training in his small arms marksmanship, of which he has attained a rather admirable amount of skill in. Finally, Itsuki prefers spicy foods as well as spices in general, typically applying spice on foods that normally have spice on them.
Equipment[]
- Pistol: Itsuki, having trained extensively and seemingly having a license to wield one, has a Jericho 941 handgun as a sidearm. Though he generally doesn't use it unless he's practicing, Itsuki is an excellent shot with it and is able to damage rank and file spiritual beings with it, though it becomes less effective the more powerful his opponents are.
Powers and Abilities[]

Expert Marksmanship: Due to his extensive small arms training in a civilian authorised shooting range, Itsuki has rather expert like skill in handling, aiming and shooting small arms such as pistols and to a lesser extent, revolver pistols. Itsuki's skill in shooting is good enough that he is able to calmly and swiftly aim and shoot targets from a fairly far distance away with some, but negligible amount of accuracy loss. Sharp Intellect: As Itsuki often drives himself to improve his skills almost constantly, he has gained rather extensive knowledge on a bunch of general topics and subjects, being academically smart and to a degree street wise too. As a result of this, Itsuki is able to plan ahead quickly and is able to come up with ideas in the heat of a desperate situation, though due to his perfectionism, he can sometimes become lost in thought or angered if he is unable to think of something. Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Due to his training in various hand-to-hand defence training regimes, Itsuki is proficient in fighting opponents without a weapon in unarmed combat. Itsuki is able to take out most normal people with ease and is able to even fight effectively against naturally stronger spiritual beings with just his combat skills, though his still human strength makes it nigh impossible for him to properly go up against strong opponents. Itsuki's fighting style is rough and unrefined, however it implements fighting styles such as Silat and other martial arts, making it unpredictable to those who are unaware of Itsuki's way of fighting. Excellent Athleticism: While he is Human and his physical abilities are for the most part inferior to spiritual beings, who are naturally stronger than Humans, Itsuki still is physically capable in combat. His training has put him in peak condition and as such Itsuki's strength, speed, durability and endurance is all greatly higher than a normal Human's and are in fact on par with spiritual beings or spiritually aware beings who are combat trained themselves, such as lower ranking Shinigami, Hollows, Quincies and other spiritual beings. Spiritual Awareness: The ability to sense spiritual energy and perceive spiritual beings is a rare skill that primarily manifests in humans after long exposure to a quantity of spiritual energy above a certain point. Itsuki, as a High-spec Human, is able to see spirits such as Pluses and is even capable of seeing other spiritual beings that normally Humans aren't able to see, such as Shinigami and Hollow. Average Spiritual Power: As a High-spec Human and as a Spiritual Medium, Itsuki carries a fair bit of Spiritual Power of his own, having enough to not only see and interact with most spiritual beings, but enough to also withstand Spiritual Powers that vastly outstrip his own, such as Shinigami Lieutenants, Captains and other powerful beings, albeit with great difficulty due to said spiritual beings having crushing Reiatsu, however he is still able to function somewhat in their presence. His Reiatsu is a aqua blue in colour. | |

Sekai no Omo-sa (世界の重さ, Weight of the World): Itsuki's Spiritual Power is typically encased in that of a old wrist watch that was initially his father's, and was passed down to him. Itsuki's power manifests itself as a large, semi-transparent, orb-like field which surrounds Itsuki and a large area around him, generally engulfing his opponents as well. Itsuki, believing in going through hardship and sometimes heavily responsible situations make one stronger, generates his ability in a form that is known as "dominance of reality", due to his ability affecting the realms of reality in it's fundamental form. When activated, the field that is conjured changes the gravitational pull of the world in that area, making the gravity to all but Itsuki become distorted, causing objects and individuals in the field to be effected by the distorted gravity, additionally the gravity changes can be used for destructive and defensive purposes, with few support options. Itsuki's ability, like most abilities of Spirit Mediums, changes and becomes different depending on his mood. As with all Medium powers, Itsuki's powers become more destructive when he is in a negative mood, more defensive when he is passive and calm, and more supportive when in a positive mood, however, Itsuki's powers also change in the sense that the gravity distortion changes with his moods as well, as such, when his mood is extremely low, the gravity his field creates is much stronger than that of normal gravity, making buildings fall under their own weight, the floor weaken slightly and causing people to collapse due to the strain of standing up, making them easy targets. However, when Itsuki's mood is higher and more positive, the gravity in the field becomes weaker, and causes a low gravity, meaning that individuals aren't able to move as swiftly and have trouble walking on the ground. | |
