Ikirei (霊丸 Translated as Spirit Ray), also called Shinigami Blast is the Shinigami version of a Cero, developed by the 10th Division in unison. It is Captain Ryun's most common attack. The user concentrates his spiritual engergy into his right (or left) index finger and releases it as a projectile. It can be from a small shot to a full-sized cannon blast. Its only weakness is that the user can only use it a certain number of times per day in the beginning. At first they may only use it once per day, but most captain-level shinigami can use it up to six times a day.
