Hizen Sakamoto (ひぜん さかもと, Sakamoto Hizen) is a member of Avenon, and one of the higher ranking members. Thus, he can exercise authority over both Raiho Fukashima and Liza Versala. Earlier in his life, Hizen was the 3rd Seat Officer of the 7th Division during the tenure of Love Aikawa. In the relative confusion incurred by the incident 110 years ago that would later birth the Visoreds, Hizen slipped out of the Soul Society and left for the world of the living. For a while before he had found himself disagreeing with the Gotei's overly traditionalist ways.

At some point, he came into contact with Avenon and joined their ranks. In the midst of the living world, he continued to train and better himself. He would soon solidify himself as one of the more important members of this society of the "spiritually aware". In recent events, Hizen released the seal placed on Sannoto Nageki by his father, Kai Nageki, showing him a world he never accepted. While he has not achieved Bankai himself, Hizen is a very knowledgeable teacher.
