Appearance[]
Hiroaki, as a shinigami and human hybrid, has a rather standard appearance as most would commonly mistake, and many would be likely to underestimate him. He possesses a rather lean but moderately muscular build, and is quite short for someone of his age, standing at 5'6", and possesses aqua eyes. He has long and unruly raven hair, which does down to his mid-vertebrae, with a short fringe at his forehead, leaving a few strands of hair near his eyes. While in Shinigami form, he wears a strange mix of a shinigami attire with a little "twist" to it.
This attire consists of the standard black shikahusho, with the top revealing a bare portion of his chest in a V-Shape, and is worn in a similar manner to a tank top. He also wears standard black hakama and the casual shinigami attire along with it. He also wears an unusual white haori with no insignia at the back of it, instead possessing white skulls on each side, which are of a similar design to the skull on the substitute shinigami badge.

Enhanced Speed: Hiroaki is a very fast individual. In a strange twist, he actually managed to learn Shunpo instinctively, something very uncommon for Shinigami. Hiroaki is shown on many occasions to even outrun high speed individuals, but is not at the level of the Flash Queen Yoruichi.
Great Spiritual Power: Hiroaki has a truly large amount of spiritual energy, on part with the average Captain.

Zanpakutou[]
Jouppu Mushi (上々烈風 無声死 Great Gale Silent Death): It takes the form of an ordinary katana.
- Shikai: Release by the command "Bring Forth Deceptive Blankness" (フォース不正無表情をもたらす Fōsu fusei muhyōjō o motarasu). When the command is activated, eleased it takes the form of a large, two-bladed weapon connected with a straight pole. It's appearance is basic, the blades merely appearing as enlarged Katana blades, similar to Zangetsu in appearance.
- Shikai Special Ability: Jouppu Mushi's special ability is lethal, and strictly melee. Upon contact with the body, the blade is able to numb the bodies pain receptors upon contact, making it so the opponent will feel nothing when struck. When it hits, it makes the sound of a blade cutting through air, hence the name Jouppu. Due to not recieving any pain and the blade not sounding as if it has made any contact, the opponent will not believe that have been struck at all, while they are actually bleeding profusely. This lack of knowledge can easily lead to the opponent's death through blood loss. Cutting off a limb with this ability forces the opponent to go through a "phantom limb" syndrome, where they believe their now lost limb is still connected. Naturally, any attacks made by the "phantom limb" won't connect.
