Haruka Kuchiki (朽木 春香, Kuchiki Haruka) is a former lieutenant of the 13th Division under the command of Captain Jūshirō Ukitake and the sister of Byakuya Kuchiki. As a Shinigami, she lives in the spirit world, but currently lives in the human world after encountering Raruto, where she is married and has a son, Hakure Ishida. Although she remains in the human world, she has decided to become a tutor at a dojo, where she teaches spiritual techniques and combat to those with latent spiritual abilities or Shinigami.
Appearance[]
Haruka Kuchiki is a fair-skinned woman with deep black eyes that exude serenity and quiet determination. Her hair is long and black, falling elegantly over her shoulders, and over the years it has grown longer, reflecting the maturity she has gained in her new life in the human world. During her time as a vice lieutenant of the 13th Division, she wore the traditional Shinigami uniform, complemented by the division's vice lieutenant insignia, and continues to wear it in the future, a symbol of her commitment and dedication to Soul Society. This insignia remains dear to Haruka, as it represents a period of her life that she deeply respects and cherishes. She is initially seen wearing a school uniform, where she kept a low profile. Currently, as an instructor at her dojo, Haruka wears a traditional training uniform, which is simple yet elegant, reflecting her serene and focused spirit.
Personality[]
Haruka is a very calm and determined person with a strong sense of duty no matter what she does. Her brother Byakuya's influence on her is quite clear. She will do anything to help anyone in need as a feared Shinigami and as a loving mother and wife. She is compassionate, determined and brave, being willing to sacrifice herself and fight anyone to protect those she loves. She is humble and wants to avoid any unnecessary conflicts and always resolve them peacefully.
History[]
During a certain period when Hakura was in the outskirts of Karakura, a Hollow appeared and attacked a child. Hakura was searching for this Hollow, and witnessed Raruto's spiritual power that manifested an extremely strong spiritual weapon around him. She became curious to realize that he possessed abnormal energy and has a plan to investigate who this young man is. Hakura was disposed of by a transfer student from Raruto's school who surprised him in order to monitor his steps and abilities, however, Raruto begged for her help to control his abilities and not hurt anyone. Over the weeks, the training intensified and there was another Hollow attack together. Hakura was injured and Raruto awakened his Shinigami abilities, saving her. She saw him as someone trustworthy, bringing the two closer together and decided to help him even more, and this friendship devolved over time.
The Red Energy Weapons awaken and during one of their training sessions, Haruka and Raruto feel the intense spiritual presence of a Vasto Lorde. Both decide to fight this monster. Haruka is mortally wounded, and Raruto, in the midst of his fury, manifests a Hollow mask that gives a force that causes injuries to the Vasto Lorde, focusing on his retreat. This left questions about Raruto's origins. While investigating ancient documents, he discovers the secret of the relationship between the Quincy and the Shinigami, but before discovering more, Hakura is kidnapped by a hooded Shinigami, later discovered to be Aizen. His objective was to get the Hōgyoku, which he discovered was hidden inside Haruka's body without her prior knowledge. The battle between Raruto and Aizen was more intense because the training that Raruto had favored him, but Haruka did not stand still and helped protect everyone on the battlefield. Upon returning to the human world after these events, Haruka realized how strong her connection with Raruto had become.
During the war against Yhwach's army, Haruka actively participated in the battles, where she was in charge of facing the Sternritter group composed of Candice Catnipp, the McAllon Girls and Giselle Gewelle. Using her skills with her Zanpakutō allowing her to completely control the battlefield due to her bankai that leaves an intense cold on the field, completely freezing her opponents at absolute zero having a certain delicacy according to her opponents. Despite the resistance against the Sternritter Quincy, Hakura continues to fight in order to protect everyone around her. After the battle, let's say that Hakura begins to live in the human world, marrying Raruto and living a peaceful life, having a daughter, Hakure Ishida. During this time, due to her experience as a Shinigami, she decided to open a Dojo to train future young Shinigamis or humans with spiritual power. She did not neglect her duties as a Shinigami, who will protect Karakura City in the event of any future threat in any of the worlds.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hohō: Haruka has high capabilities in Hohō, being one of the fastest ever seen when it comes to Shunpo, allowing her to dodge and deflect against quick attacks with her high agility.
Kido Master: Haruka is extremely skilled with Kidō, being able to use both Hadō and Bakudō, balancing control of the battlefield. She is able to use bursts from 1 to 80.
Hakuda Fighter: She masters Hakuda, being an expert in hand-to-hand combat, subduing the opponent with her precise fists when she does not need her Zanpakutō.
Great Spiritual Power: Haruka was born with high amounts of spiritual energy, making her a weapon for shinigamis.
Spiritual Awareness: Because she is a shinigami, she can sense presences from afar and understand the intentions or emotions of others. Sharp Intellect: Haruka is an innate strategist and analyst, in any situation she can analyze the movements of her enemies to create an opening to counterattack, also her intelligence as she can master most Kidō.
Zanpakutō: Kazehime (風姫, "Ice Princess") is a simple and extremely sharp katana.
Bankai: Kazehime no Tōjin (風姫の刀神, "Ice Sword Goddess") In his Bankai form, Kazehime transforms into a large odachi. When activating Bankai, Hakura, when raising the blade, releases a powerful wave of cold, forming a freezing Garden of Flowers, using different offensive and defensive forms with his petolas on the field, forming blades or placing them around Hakura and his allies to protection, and can also manipulate the field for different purposes or shapes. When using Bankai, a black horn appears in the center of his forehead, and his hair becomes more purple, with slight changes to his Shinigami outfit. This fierce look is intimidating to opponents and is a symbol of Haruka's icy power.
