Four Sages of the Planes (四平面の賢者, Shi Kenjin no Heimen) are a group of incredibly intelligent individuals who watch over the four planes of the universe consisting of Hell, Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and finally the World of the Living. Each Sage is considered to be a legend in their own right and have even been listed as fugitives by the Soul Society due to their levels of strength.

Trivia

• Although Mammon was regarded as the Sage of the East and the Sage of Hell respectively, he did not express any amount of loyalty or comradeship to the Sages of the Planes, preferring to act independently instead.
