The Maryoku Clan (マジックル パウアー クラン, Maryoku Ichizoku, literally meaning "Magical Power Clan"), is a family within Soul Society that founded the Kidō Corps and has the specific job of gaining magical knowledge (e.g. Kidō, Gintō/Quincy Spell casting, unique Hollow/Arrancar powers, phenomenon unexplained by Science, etc) and controlling its usage, each Shinigami born of the Maryoku Clan seem to have an incredibly high spiritual energy (being born Immense or even Vast) or a prodigal learning capability or both.
The Lemures, Anubis Maryoku, is said to have the highest Spiritual Pressure and learning arc in the entire family's history. Meanwhile, his younger sister and Shinigami, Isis Maryoku, is said to have infinite reserves of knowledge and with a Zanpakuto and Immense Spiritual energy specified for Kidō/Spiritual energy attacks.

The Clan is said to give birth to some of the most spiritually powerful Shinigami in the history of Soul Society and made Anubis Maryoku, after his experimentation at the hands of Mayuri Kurotsuchi and the embedding of the Fracta Obscurus within his soul, so powerful that he had a Vast power on par with any member of the Royal Guard and could match even a member of the Royal family.
Osiris Maryoku was the head of the family and the elder brother of both Anubis and Isis, Osiris was described as the "Man closest to being a God" and powerful enough to astral project himself into the Soul King's domain whom he befriended the current Crown Soul Prince, close to gaining immortality without using a relationship with a Hōgyoku or Fracta or without becoming a member of the Royal Guard.

Family Relics[]
- Hijiri Naru Otomeza - 聖なる乙女座, literally Holy Virgo, is the family Zanpakuto of the Maryoku family that takes the form of its Shikai when activated to be used by the family head. When in its sealed state, it takes the form of a statue with protective powers found in the family home, its Banki allows its wielder to summon 108 beads which each have the power to seal spiritual energy and if weak enough the soul of the person.
