When seen from a certain perspective, the mortal realm is a massive breeding ground for stressful and depressing days where those who endure through a constant pace of trials and errors live in fear and longing for love and kindness; therein lies the beauty of hope that acts as a small speck of light in the midst of the horrendous darkness, for it is through hoping and dreaming that one may continue enduring through the rough trials of life. Among the many things some feeble mortals believe in to keep their wits strong through the trials is the Faelia (ファエリア, Faeria), a small yet vastly powerful spiritual entity that is praised for its ability to grant the wishes of those who have had enough of their despondent lives. Yet, in the eyes of those who live rather condescendingly, the Faelia is regarded as simply another time-expiring myth used by lowlives to keep their heads high up in the air; little do they know that the Faelia truly exists, and that there are more than just one, for they are innumerable. It is their duty to stay hidden, and to fulfill the wishes of those who consistently pray and live faithfully.

The main and original idea behind the Faelia was primarily based on the Kitsune's behavioral patterns of deceitful trickery; the original author of this article later realized that such an idea is basically a feline version of the Kitsune, and changed the idea entirely. The author then bases the main idea behind the Faelia on how cats are jokingly deemed as treacherous and evil creatures in the eyes of modern society, which the author uses to explain that some treacherous cats are actually the Faelia in disguise who seek the good in people's heart even in the face of total deprivation of love and passion. The name of this mythical creature is a randomized version of the Latin for "feline", which is "feles".
