Danko Kakanzaki (果敢崎 断固, Kakanzaki Danko) is a boisterous Shinigami and member of the Gotei 13. He joined their ranks prior to the reforms brought on by the first war with the Quincy and participated in many of the major conflicts of that era, from war with an army of Hollow to a collaborative war front of multiple races. He has worked his way through the ranks of the Shinigami, intent on becoming the Captain-Commander some day. He is the acting Lieutenant of the 11th Division under Kenpachi Amakyō.
