Cassiopeia is an Arcus Daemon of tremendous power who is known by a wide myriad of different names, including being known and even occassionally praised as the Goddess Aphrodite the Greek Godess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation -- she currently lives in Elysium and rules over all the (worthy) Incubi and Succubi present in the city, all of the Brothels located there are also under her control, even to this day, she is largely recognized as one of the most powerful influences in the city - enough so that she's concidered to be second after the Optimate Arthfael himself.
Cassiopeia is also known to be the Matriarch of a House, made entirely in her honor of which most Succubi and Incubi in existence are apart of - and anyone of these whom aren't affiliated with her are treated as outcasts and expendables by their own kind. She's known to adopt any such Diabolus who displays a particular penchant for the arts of seduction, in short - only those much above average are accepted -- with this acception into her House comes a great deal of influence and power and Cassiopeia is known to treat her sons and daughters as she so affectionately names them very well, provided that they can impress her.
The children aren't raised as siblings though, far from it -- instead, they are taught to intermingle and practise the arts of seduction and eventually even more intimate gestures with one another from they are first introduced to her family, they are also taught magic -- and anyone whom doesn't excel at it are quickly expelled from her house in shame, likewise are anyone whom can't pleasure their receptive 'sparring-partner' enough to qualify -- there is a definite caste system in Cassiopeia's House which is based entirely on ones magical prowess, general power and perhaps most of all, ones ability to seduce and give pleasure to ones partner, depending on their prowess - they're sent off to different consorts -- the greater their skills in their arts, the more powerful their Consort will be, with those few Sons and Daughters at the top receiving the honor of being the Consorts of even the Optimates, so far only two have managed this, one of them is perhaps one of Cassiopeia's most infamous daughters; namely Dorothy Furlan da Liberi.
