Burn the Witch: Queen's Curse is a stand-alone arc that occurs after the events of BURN THE WITCH. The plot follows Ladd Langdon, a normal Human who is unable to use Magic but whose Dragonclad arm is central to an ancient conspiracy in Reverse London.
Overview[]
- In Reverse London, contact with dragons is strictly prohibited. The only exceptions are Witches and Wizards, who have an immunity to dragotoxins and are therefore tasked with managing dragon populations and utilizing their magic to protect normal humans against attack.
After encountering a dark dragon, a boy named Ladd Langdon is given a cursed arm by his older brother, who dies while saving his life. Now carrying a wound which seeps dangerous levels of dragotoxins, his execution date is only delayed by the fact that he could carry the key to unraveling a centuries old secret kept by the nobility of Reverse London. To that end, he is recruited by the Gallows and kept under close watch at Wing Bind, where he must find a way to be rid of his dark powers before his execution date.
