Hello Everyone, Iam Tenko1083 the newbie writer in this fandom. I want to write all of idea from Bleach like Character, Zanpakuto Or even power concept.
I am already make my own character with name ShimotsukiRaichi, and in my Own Imaginary Bleach World Shimotsuki Clan is The Last of 5 Royal Clan in Soul Society and have good relationship with Kuchiki, Shiba, & Shihōin. But, Shimotsuki have bad relationship with Tsunayashiro because of secret of Soul King History and And slandered the Shimotsuki Clan so that almost all of the Clan members were executed except for one person.
For Raichi, himself are third seat do first division because of his achievements and loyalty to Gotei 13, also he is grandson of ShimotsukiRyukimaru, one of Gotei 13 Captain (D. 5) and Genryuusai Shigekuni Yamamoto Old Friends.
Raichi Zanpakuto is RaiTenkō with command Release "RoaringFromTheSky". In the next messages, I will give all information of Raichi Bio, his family and his Zanpakuto.
I'm slightly confused regarding the current status of Dawn of the Coven. When the new direction for the FC was discussed Dawn of the Coven was one of the old stories that was going to be retained, as it served as the introduction point for a lot of characters. I saw one of Saris's characters -- Maiko Ueki -- list Dawn of the Coven as "obsolete", and it hasn't been included in the listings on Renascence Beginning.
So what's the story? Is it being retained or disregarded? Because it's kind of important for my own story threads.
So here we are again. Attempt 4. Well, you can definitely say we're persistent, if nothing else. But I got such a good feeling about this one!
Anyways, let's get down to it. This is going to be our fourth attempt at the Fanon Canon project. They say three times the charm, and while this is our fourth, in chemistry, we always say the first one is just a scout trial, so this is technically our real third trial. That's how I choose to see it. Our kindly neighborhood Shonen has helped me put the scattered FC information into order so I can finally go ahead and put everybody on the same page with this forum post. So in lieu of throwing bananas at him, please throw chocolate instead.
Format
This is what is the biggest change in our FC this time around. Rather than a very structured and linear plot path, where everybody has to wait to post or to do roleplays until others manage to get the plot going, the FC is going to be more open and exploratory. What this means is, we're going to promote a more open platform RP system by introducing "plot elements" rather than "plot structure".
What we mean by this is that, rather than creating a step-by-step procedure in how the FC's plot has to go, who shows up when, et cetera, all we're going to do is simply state "this is the state of the world", "this is what's going on in the world", and "where we want this to go". You'll have an environment to play around with, with a series of "goals" or checkpoints that we're aiming for. So instead of a closely-followed step by step system, the "steps" so to speak are far more open-ended and spread out, to leave lots of room for self-interpretation and participatation. This way, everybody can do what they want, RP with who they want, and when they want, while still keeping to a "plot" in some sense. We'll be able to accomodate for people getting busy or not being able to post by simply shifting directions without having to completely redo the entire plot structure.
Plot
So we're going to step away from the Coven for a little bit. The Coven will still be a significant group (we're likely going to remodel it again), but it won't play a key role right away at least. Because we're trying to avoid a strict structure, that also means we want to avoid assigning roles like "good guys" and "bad guys" until we actually get things going. Instead, like I've already said, we're going to introduce a plot element in lieu of a structure.
In this case, the central "plot element" will be the announcement of the Soul Society's original sin.
For those unfamiliar with Can't Fear Your Own World, the Bleach light novel written by Ryogo Narita and supervised by the man himself, Tite Kubo, the "original sin" was introduced as being the action taken by the five founders of the Noble Houses when they created the Soul King and the Soul Society itself. It was an act so horrible that it likely turned Aizen against the Soul Society when he learned of it, and even caused Tokinada (the antagonist of the light novel) to believe his hatred was justified by their sin. Should everybody learn of it, it's hard to say what would happen; who would decide to oppose Soul Society and who would remain loyal.
So this is our starting spot. The sin will be revealed, first through rumors that threaten to split apart the Gotei 13, and later by confirmation from Kyoraku, who believes assauging their concerns will prevent another Aizen from being born. But this may lead to unintended consequences. All of which will be explored in this open-ended FC.
Background
In moving forward with this plot element taking center stage, there is some background information to consider as well.
The FC will take place 14 years after the final battle. 4 years after the manga's epilogue. 2 years after Burn the Witch.
We will be moving under the premise that, in the final battle, Yhwach's body dispersed when he was slain by Ichigo. Therefore, like the original Soul King, Yhwach has his own "fragments of the Soul King", which we will explore in this FC. (More on this later)
A short time before the start of the FC, Shinigami notice strange effects while on mission in human/Hueco Mundo. These are what contribute to the rumors that eventually lead to the original sin's announcement.
Someone credible (like Hisagi) starts asking questions/spreads info/rumors in the Gotei 13. Unrest is caused and accusations of a conspiracy are *As said before, fearing another situation like what happened with Aizen, Shunsui decides to come clean and makes an official announcement of the Original Sin.
This would likely start a conflict between the Noble Houses and the Gotei, with individual Shinigami struggling over whether they can really continue serving the Soul Society after learning the truth. In other parts, other factions begin conspiring to gather the Soul King pieces in the hopes of seizing the "empty throne in the sky" for themselves. In other words, they all enter the role of Aizen.
Fragments of the Soul King
So here I'll elaborate a little on what I meant by Yhwach's "Soul King pieces". Using the idea that the fragments split off in eight directions, a direct reference to the Ise Clan's Hakkyoken which was likely used to cut up the original Soul King, the pieces we'll be using in the FC are as follows:
The brain: To be determined later
The heart (formerly Gerard): It's currently in Hueco Mundo, causing all sorts of shit.
The left hand (formerly Pernida): Available
The right hand (formerly Mimihagi): I'll likely take this for myself, I do have some plans for it. Maybe for my resurrected Haschwalth, we'll see. More on that later.
For the ones that are available, we'll keep this closed for right now until we start, but more than likely, they'll eventually be open for everybody to call dibs on.
Factions
While we have multiple factions going on, it's important to remember that there are only two sides.
Opposers of the System and Loyalists to the System
Opposers are those who are outraged at the original sin. Frustrated, irritated, et cetera. They're unhappy, basically, with the current system. Maybe they want it all gone, like Yhwach. Maybe they feel like they could do a better job, like Aizen. What they have in common is that they're all vying for the Soul King, and his pieces, in some manner or another. This could mean they're either working in competition with one another, or perhaps cooperating for a shared goal. Maybe the latter type may betray their new comrades. Who knows.
These groups include the Coven, the Noble Houses, Hell Forces, and (pending) the Wandenreich remnants.
Now, the reason why I list the Noble Houses here is because I firmly believe they would find the idea of their Soul King being a Quincy utterly disgusting. And like their founders, would want someone in that spot they could control. So they essentially oppose this current system.
Loyalists is pretty self-explanatory. They still believe in the system and will fight to protect it. The central group here is the Gotei 13 and their branch ground, Basara. Xstence is more than likely also in this camp. The Three Pillars should also belong to this side. I say this because, I am certain Nelliel and Harribel would simply want to protect the peace gained after the defeat of Yhwach, and Grimmjow himself wouldn't care for a position like the Soul King. So I strongly see them fighting to defend the current system.
We can discuss if other groups are necessary or if they will be added, but that isn't dependent on the FC's start. We can always throw them in later on.
The Wandenreich are tricky. On the one hand, I suspect they would work together with the Shinigami. It's also very likely they already know what the original sin is (Yhwach probably informed them), so I doubt this announcement would change anything for them. Maybe like the Gotei 13, we may see a split here, where some decide to work toward peace, and others decide to fight for the throne. This is open for discussion, of course.
Story Arcs
So because the FC will be more of an open platform, the story arcs will be more flexible, but we'll still have a general guideline to follow so as to keep everybody on the same page. So far, we have two arcs already outlined.
First Arc: Response to the Sin
Factions respond to the announcement of the sin, pretty self-explantory.
Xstence will be one of the key RPs of this arc. In the human world, Anastasia is inducted into Xstence and strange phenomena begins to occur. Who is she? (A Soul Piece, although this may not yet be known). Anastasia is taken to Hell, possibly by the Kiyou, who have perhaps been tasked by Hell’s Will to retrieve a piece of the Soul King. Xstence goes to save her. Battle with the Kiyou results in major losses.
Other RPs will likely involve Basara and the Gotei 13's response. Since the FC is open-ended, completion of the first arc isn't dependent on the completion of all of these RPs and other potential ones going on during this arc. If anything, I see this arc being relatively short, since it's meant to serve as a foundation for future arcs.
This arc is focused on the revelation of three things: the original sin, the pieces of the Soul King, and "where do you stand?"
Second Arc: Factions Mobilize
The Xstence RP continues with their escape from Hell after a fierce conflict with the Kiyo. Xstence goes to Hueco Mundo to train. In Hueco Mundo, Xstence battles with either the Wandenreich or the Espada (or both).
Perhaps around this same time, Basara contacts them, hoping they will work with the Soul Society (Xstence initially refuses to be absorbed by the Soul Society, and their goal is to “keep Xstence free” from Shinigami influence. At least that’s Tetsuo’s goal).
This arc is focused on the actions of the factions now that they know the original sin and have made decisions as to what they plan on doing now. Whether that means to protect the system, to fight the system, to gather the Soul King pieces, or what have you.
After the completion of the first arc, I'll begin a thread so we can discuss the third arc and potential future arcs as well.
Concluding Thoughts
With that, we can begin the first RP relatively soon. At the very least, we can start up the Xstence RP, and hopefully we can get the others started soon too. I'm thinking we can wait a little, leave this forum open for concerns, questions, and thoughts, and then hopefully start by next week, sometime right after December 16th. If we already have everything settled and everybody's on the same page, we can start sooner too.
Since our main antagonists are former members of the Kido Corps, we'll be running into a lot of Kido-based offences and defences as we progress into the Fanon Canon. I'm just curious which Kido page we're running off of here?
Is there a single Kido page for the Fanon Canon and, if not, should we make one?
Moved over to a new thread to make things a bit less cluttered. So what's the next move, there still more to the prologue or we moving to the first chapter? Either way, who's next up to bat?
It has come to my attention that there has been a recent surge of Fullbringers hitting the activity thread.
It has also come to my attention that they're still floating around, wandering as they search for a purpose in this world of the FC.
That said, I think it is time to start an Xstence RP.
Brace yourselves, a storm is coming.
Dramatics aside, for the Fullbringers, I mentioned this to several people on chat, but I had the idea where the reason why all of them are gathering in one place is not just because Xstence is there in Ikeda, Osaka (since Xstence could have been anywhere technically), but rather that somehow the Coven is "pulling" on the geographical soul of the location itself, or perhaps pulling the souls of the Fullbringers to it (they'd probably susceptible to that sort of thing). Something like this probably would have been set up shortly after the Kidou Corps defection from the Soul Society or in the recent past (say 1 year ago or something, when everyone started moving to Osaka). From a meta-meta-sense, this would explain why everyone who is a Fullbringer in the world happens to be in that part of Japan at the start of the RP without just a very convenient string of coincidences occurring. From a meta-sense the reasoning could be that the Coven is intending to use the Fullbringers as part of their "spiritually-empowered-human-collection," if we're still going that route.
Anyway, in-story:
As opposed to starting of the FC with Xstence having already-been formed in the past, I wanted to have the group actively forming at the start of the FC. This means that they're still searching out members, building their hideout, collaborating, training, and coming together to define a purpose as a collective. That way it's not just "Tetsuo+old members" thing, but a group that really exists for and by all the Fullbringers. There'd be more equality, solidarity, etc. that way.
After Xstence has sort of grouped together (which would probably be the first RP), maybe we can have the Coven approach Xstence and be like, "we actually set this up this giant soul magnet to draw you here cause we want you to join our cause" (obviously a lie). Xstence would refuse at first, but then maybe an attack by Hollows occurs or something and the Coven saves their sorry, under-powered asses. Realizing they really have no choice in the matter, Xstence says they will join the Coven. But then one of the members discovers what the Coven's real intentions for the Fullbringers are (Soul King sacrifices or whatever), and shit goes down from there.
This is very similar to the Fullbringer arc in FC.1, but the difference is that it'd be more plot-relevant and more collaborative between members. That said, what do you guys think of the idea? (I need ideas, tell me your ideas, all of them).
The American Chapter
There are some Fullbringers stuck over on the Western (or is it Eastern?) side of the planet. For those guys, I was thinking we could somehow link one of the members from Xstence Japan to one of the characters from USA. Maybe someone from Xstence studied in America, or vice-versa, and met each other in the past. Then when Xstence begins to form again in the FC, the member in Japan could contact his/her old buddy from the USA, who starts an "American chapter" over there. Later in the RP they could come over to Osaka for joint training or something, or to help Xstence fight the Coven, but that way you don't have to "force" the American characters to be in Japan.
Also, if you all wouldn't mind, could you list the Fullbringers you are intending to be in Xstence?
Similar to Saris' thread, this is about characters that'll be involved in the FC, but specifically the Coven members everybody wants to use in the FC's Coven. So post them down on this thread and I'll keep track of them on the new page for the Coven, or you can add them yourselves too; either way.
Speaking of which, since I'm in the process of remaking the old page (The Coven) into the new page (Coven), there's something we need to address: how do we want the structure of the organization to be? Do we want to follow the same hierarchy as before (ie. Archmages, Mages, et cetera), does anyone have any other suggestions they would rather see, or do we want to keep it ambiguous (ie. everybody is a member and then there's a leader and probably a second-in-command too). Once we get that settled, I can move over everything we need from the old page and then redirect that page to the new one.
Hey guys, I'm here to bring an idea that Ash, N, and myself came up with on chat.
Essentially speaking, we're going to create a society for Gotei 13 members and magical-inclined beings to study and research magic in light of the Kido Corps betrayal. With no Shinigami from the Kido Corps to teach young academy prospects magic, it's up to this organization to step in and take the reigns.
According to N, it will be made up of Gotei 13 members and other beings who primarily use magic; of course, they don't have to leave their divisions to be a part of this organization. Think of it like the Shinigami's Women Association.
So, please, if you have any other ideas to offer about this proposal please feel free to do so. Much is appreciated :)
Hey guys, I need your opinion on something. Is it possible to turn the Eighth Division into a makeshift Kido Corps? Since the Eighth Division isn't really in charge of anything, and you would need people to manage the Senkaimon leading to other worlds, might as well turn the Division into something productive outside of combat. Also, it would good motivation for people wanting to still practice Kido yet are unable to join the Corps because of their defection.
I would hope by now that the bulk of this community is familiar with my character, Izari Kenshiko. If not, hit the darn link and check him out!
Moving along, I'm sure based on the title above, you lot should know where I'm going with this. For quite some time now, I've fancied the prospect of playing Izari in the light of a villain; and since the fanon canon seems to be picking back up, I figured why not share the idea with you guys and see where we can take it?
Synopsis
A prodigy like no other; a sworn talent so gifted that he was eons beyond his time long before he was even conceived. So great was his power that upon his birth it is said that the Seireitei --in all its profound glory-- trembled in the wake of his first cry. A cry that resounded and bellowed and howled to such an extent that all became of his arrival --of the arrival of the Kenshiko tribe's heir and most accomplished product.
Cliches aside, it came as a surprise to absolutely no one that this child progressed at rates never before seen. He soared through the ranks, demolishing each and every record and plateau set before him until he was on a standing of his own. And though he came to master every individual principle ever conceived, Izari's greatest and most formidable ability remained his ridiculous growth rate.
The rate at which Izari progressed could not be understated. He made incredulous leaps in strength and power on a whim; it was effortless to him, he needn't even try! Eventually he sought out the greatest masters of them all: the Yonko, the greatest practitioners of their craft, and can you at all imagine what happened next?
The child who on his own attained Bankai. Can you imagine what might happen to such a monstrosity if he were to be mentored by the legends of the Soul Society? Needless to say... Kuroyasha became so powerful that the mere idea of his existence posed as a threat to the balance of the world.
Even as a Captain, Izari did not feel at all accomplished. But merit aside, he didn't quite understand the purpose behind any of this. He retired his services as a member of the Gotei 13 and figured he'd instead ravel in the chasms as one of the Soul King's best. He joined the Royal Guard, but when ensued was only boredom. Strictly, boredom.
Why had he done all this? For what reason had he grown so strong?
Izari's Bankai enables him to manipulate the elements of space and time at his leisure. A rift to the future was opened, and seeking any sort of purpose, any at all, he ventured into the future to meet the only one man he thought could ever hope to understand him: himself.
You see, even as far as 100 more years into the future, Izari had grown so absurdly powerful that by now he saw no reason to grow any stronger. None could so much as hope to compare with what he had become. He had become so bored that on numerous occasions had he attempted to claim his own life, only to reach the understanding that for him, suicide was impossible.
He was too strong. He couldn't even escape himself. It brought him to the brink of ruination. Why, why was he alive? What was his purpose, if not to rule? For what reason had he attained all of this? He had been promised an answer should he reach the greatest heights. But it was all in vain. To no avail did anything make sense to him.
Everyone in his life had simply instructed him on what to do... yet never bothered explaining why it was he must do it. And so Izari finally made up his mind. He opted to find that purpose no matter the cost.
No matter the cost. No matter... the cost. He would reap and sow to his content, so long as he felt anything. He couldn't even feel anymore. The wind and breeze that blew through naturalistic means could not break through to his senses. He couldn't even taste food due to how refined his defenses had become.
A soul who failed to delve into any sort of pleasure at all was no soul at all.
Metric
If in 150 years of living, Izari became as powerful as he did, where can he be, say, at 1000 years of age?
Izari is far from power hungry. Matter of fact, he is the opposite; he does not wish to be so strong, he just wishes to understand. He has more power than he knows what to do with, so much power that he envies the weak.
This is a solo villain. Clearly he cannot bring himself to align with much of anyone, because no one could ever relate to him. He will not have a group like the Arrancar or Wardenreich; he is independent.
There is no immediate plot aligned to his creation; through my humble experience, I've found that when working within a large community, it's hard to involve everyone in one single arc/story/plot. Plot ensues from the actions of those contributing to the story. Future Izari is assembled to amount to exactly that.
So with the merger successful, we can begin to work on new projects, and one of which is a revival of our site's Fanon Canon. This will be where we properly hash out ideas and suggestions for how to proceed, so before that, let me put down here what we've discussed so far.
The consensus appears to be that we all want to focus on Light Novel content for this FC; in particular, the content displayed in "Can't Fear Your Own World". A masterpost about information regarding post-Quincy war content from the LNs can be found here. Doing that means we have a fair amount of stuff to work with, and one of the biggest things that gives us room to play with is the idea that the Soul King's death had to be covered up to most people in Soul Society, and also that his death that caused those major earthquakes in the living world gave rise to several end-time religious groups.
We've also expressed a willingness to refocus on the Coven by leaning more toward an outright Kido Corps defection from Soul Society.
Now, we've also mentioned some of the problems that have plagued us since the previous FC renditions, so I believe what we need to do first is try to see how we can avoid running into those same problems.
First and foremost, as I mentioned on the new projects thread, I believe our first move needs to be to individually state what we all look for in a fun and compelling roleplay. This might seem rather pointless, but I think we all need to state what our goals are with this roleplay so as to pool together ideas that will contribute toward an overall pleasurable experience for as many as possible. The foundation of an FC should never be what "makes for a good story" but what "makes for a fun activity", we can never lose sight of that, otherwise it just becomes work and will eventually die like before. Of course, that doesn't mean we can't focus on making a good story, but it should never serve as our guiding principle.
Secondly, another issue that has been brought up is in the terms of power scaling. Before I get into that specifically, I want to hear everybody's thoughts on this. Some have brought up their thoughts on the other thread, but let's take this chance to really talk this through.
And after that, our third move, at least the way I see it, is for us to decide what key players we want involved in this. So, for instance, we know the Gotei 13 will be in it. And if we go ahead with the defectee Kido Corps, then that's another key player. There is the Espada, and based on the LN, the Quincy survivors are all residing in Hueco Mundo now. What sort of groups would we want in this? By piecing that together, we can think about what's driving them during this time of restoration and repair after all the shit thrown at them by the Wandenreich.
Beyond that, this is an open forum for everybody to discuss what stuff they want to see in this FC. I'll also make some suggestions of my own for stuff we can do as everybody is putting forth their own thoughts as well.
Hello everybody, hope all is well. It's been a while since I've spoken with everybody, especially in regards to the FC, and our site has become quite slow and quiet over the last month or so. That being said, I fully intend for us to continue the FC once everybody is able to. With the winter approaching, and that spelling time off for a lot of us (along with other responsibilities that get thrown our way during the holidays), I'm hoping it means we'll be able to revisit where we left off with the FC.
In preparation for the eventual (hopeful) return, I've made a new poster for the FC's Coven War saga.
Once we are able to return to the swing of things, I believe it will be a good chance to start discussing how we should progress from here. How I've thought about it, we can split them into three "arcs", which would become three individual main projects that will be done in order. Now, bear in mind, these are just rough frameworks and can be further discussed before we actually implement them, but here's what I was thinking.
The first would be Battle of the Seireitei. As things now stand, Kamui Kawahiru is placed as magistrate of the occupied Soul Society, and the forces of the Gotei 13 are scattered, lacking anything resembling a leader. In effect, they're all out there on their own, trying to manage the situation to the best of their individual abilities. It goes without saying, though, that they will endeavor to take their home back. This will be a full-scale war project, as it involves handling Kamui, an Archmage, as well as the other lower forces of the Coven, against the gathered remnants of the Gotei 13. It'll also be somewhere near the end of this arc that Haruma Kuyanagi will officially take his position as the third Captain-Commander. How many RPs this will be, I'm not sure, since it doesn't need to be a single linear progression, it can break up into branch RPs, which can all come together for a final one.
The second one would be World of Magic: Confrontation. This will most likely deal with individual confrontations with the remaining three Archmages. The name suggests that while the Gotei 13 forces were occupied retaking Soul Society, the Coven succeeded in their plan to seize control of the worlds through the recreation of a Soul King. These will be split into four specific RPs. One RP that will be a conjoined effort, explaining what's going on and what the Gotei 13's move is. And the remaining three will be three individual RPs focusing on the three other Archmages, and the battles those three will be involved in. From what I understand, excluding Kamui, we only have two other Archmages currently, both made by Saris. So we still need a final one made, but there's no rush, since this second part won't be something we'll get to too quickly.
The third and final one would be World of Magic: Last Stand. A final confrontation with the Masked Man himself and the remainder of the Coven. I'm thinking this will be split into three RPs as well, though we can discuss how this will go later. I'll most likely leave Nanja to handle this part since the Masked Man is his character, so he should make the final decisions on how this final conflict should proceed.
So, for now?
Just keep all of this in consideration. Hopefully, we can start the Battle of the Seireitei sometime this Winter.
This'll be the thread for the White Sand Burial RP and stuff. Anyways, continuing from the last thread.
@Dal - I'll go toe to toe with Teruo for a couple posts, hopefully Z joins us by then so you'll be able to counter his Gotei character with your Coven guy. Should that happen, your post will come in right after Z's, or vice-versa depending on when Z and you both have the time. In the case that doesn't happen too soon, in which I have already prepared Z's coffin for his most heinous betrayal ever since what happened in Peru, at an apex during the fight, Atsumu can join in to get the jump on Teruo, which I'll try to give you a heads up on in this thread at least one or two posts in advance.
Hello everybody, Sei here at... wow, 5 am. So, as some of you might have seen via my vast edits over the last hour, I've changed the name of Yuanrang to Yuanren. It rolls off the tongue easier, at least to me, and I honestly wasn't using proper chinese with Yuanrang so Yuanren is just... Me being Kubo for like 5 minutes. In-story, Yuanren is derived from the ancient language that was once spoken by the original Beast Realm residents, or maybe from the language of the dragons, or whatever helps you sleep at night. Not really something we need to worry about. Yuanren is just a shorthand name that exists so we don't have to keep saying Beast Realm. But anyways...
MORE IMPORTANTLY
I've finally established a groundwork for what Yuanren, the Beast Realm, is and stuff. Yuanren is a world split into seven main territories, as you can read in the skeleton article for Yuanren. Each is ruled by a "Beast King", that territory's ruler. And every region has a different population of some kind. One territory might be home to the Kitsune and Okami, another might be for Yuki-Onna and others, et cetera. But it doesn't need to split up this black and white either, there can be different clans of the same species and all that. Simple enough, I hope.
Now, since Yuanren appears to be the agreed-upon Beast Realm for the FC, and therefore, the default Beast Realm for BFF for those that don't want to go through the trouble of making their own, I've decided it would be far more proper for me to open up the territories to you all. Which is the purpose behind this thread.
Currently, I've claimed one of the territories, which is labeled right now as "Unnamed Territory" on the Yuanren page right now, pending an eventual name for it, that is home to a Kitsune clan and others. So that means six territories are still open for you guys, so on this thread, if you'd like to claim one of these territories, just ask so on this thread.
Now, before you ask to claim one, some things to keep in mind. Because Yuanren is the default BFF and FC Beast Realm, it means whatever kind of territory you create will be open to free use in other people's stories and works, without requiring permission. This also means allowing others to create settlements, villages, towns, locations, and what have you, in the territory you've claimed. Essentially, claiming a territory entitles you to three things: naming the territory, the right to create that territory's "Beast King", and to decide the overall features of that territory's region, history, and climate. That means you set the guidelines for the territory but others have free reign to add in locations, moments and events in history, and other stuff in your territory without needing permission, so long as it doesn't change or violate the established guidelines you set. So do keep this in mind.
With that said, requests are now open. I'll leave this open for three days to see how many people want to claim a territory, and if it ends up being more than six, well... We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.
So, with this, the Sorcerers Gambit is more or less concluded and we can start worrying about the smaller scale roleplays. The only issue that remains is to find out who's going where, and consequently, who's facing or meeting who. Here's the eight locations that the characters were sent to, some of them have direct plot significance, whereas others are simply intended to test the ones involved for Shijin's amusement.
1. Lillehammer: A lodestone has been erected outside of this town, located in Norway. Due to its isolated position, a powerful member of the Coven will protect it, most likely Megumi. I believe a 1v1 would work best for this.
2. Bejing: Another Lodestone will be placed here, defended by a Mage of the Coven. Who exactly is up in the air, it might be a single one, or several goons.
3. Ikeda: This poor city just can't seem to catch a break, likely going to be another attempt at getting some Soul Fragments, although with different fighters, most likely.
4. The Dragon Plains: At first glance open plains in the realm of Yuanrang, but is in reality a centerpoint of draconic powers. Causing the environment to shift at random.
5. Hueco Mundo: Ah yeah, Hueco Mundo, fighting a skilled sorcerer under these conditions is likely to be an extremely difficult venture. For the air in that place is so rich with energy that it renders spellcasters virtually inexhaustible in terms of energy expenditure.
6. Valley of Screams: The Masked Man has many cruel whims, and his own subordinates are not safe from them. As a counterpoint to Hueco Mundo, which greatly increases the potential of a Kido User, a Valley of Screams is devoid of reishi and energy, and is therefore a place where their power is significantly lessened. Forcing them to rely on their own resserves. A Summoner or Minionmancer might be a good pick for this though.
7. Mount Everest: Why? Because its friggin' awesome, that's why! Another Lodestone location.
8. Rukongai Outskirts: Pretty far from civilization, but still relatively close to the Seireitei. Most likely only weak or otherwise unthreatening combatants will be sent here
.----
Well, those are the 8 options, lets stick to those unless others have awesome suggestions. Although I chose these for the variety. Anyway, here's how this works, you can state which areas you find interesting; which Coven members you'd like to encounter in combat, or alternatively, who you'd like to fight WITH. Keep in mind that we should strive to distribute the characters fairly evenly, although there's nothing wrong with several lieutenants fighting a single strong mage. Just incase we don't have enough mages, I can RP some generic ones.
Okay, so for the sake of not losing momentum while we still have momentum, let's get the Fullbringers moving on A World Beyond. The plan is that the Stunde will convince Xstence that they need to attack the Coven at Amagasaki, which is close by and a still on-going catastrophe, so the Fullbringers decide to go for it. Stunde has an ulterior motive in conscripting the Fullbringer's aid, but that will remain a secret for now. Whatever the case, the intention behind attacking Amagasaki is to draw out the Coven.
On the Fullbringer section, Ellie just made a reply, so I believe Z should respond, and after that we go in this order:
1. Z
2. Serk
3. Shonen
4. Nix
That way we have more back-and-forth between the Quincy and the Fullbringers. Serk, you can have Abraham propose the plan to attack Amagasaki in your next post if you want. That would help speed things up.
Seeing as how the last thread is starting to get all big and stuff, I'm taking this matter into my own hands and making a new fanon canon thread: this one, please use this one from now on whenever posting. Thankies!
Also, I believe the time has come for us to make another RP.
Alright, so now with the manga finally over (still weeping in the corner about that), we now are able to make a far more accurate timeline for our FC. And with that, we may want to revisit the original plan we had in regards to time length and how the current Captains in our Gotei 13 took up the spots. In the pursuit of that, there are two things we need to discuss.
The first being that the FC originally was predicated on the belief that we start 9 years after the end of the Quincy war. But the manga's epilogue takes place 10 years after the war. So that ends up being a contradiction, and if possible, I would like for us to try our best at keeping true to the canon timeline. So perhaps we can have the FC start only 5 years after the epilogue, a total of 15 years after the war. Anybody else have a different suggestion, please let me know below.
Now, the other issue is that the epilogue restocked the Gotei 13, filling all the empty Captain spots and whatnot. So now we need to address how our Gotei 13 came to be, which means some people are gonna have to die. Tragic. Tragic!
But before that, we should probably discuss who we still wanna keep alive. For instance, in our Gotei, Kyoraku and Byakuya are still alive, so that's a given. I have a rendition of Rangiku I'd like to keep FC-consistent. Ash has an Ichigo. And so, are there particular canon characters anybody else wants to keep alive for the FC timeline so that they can do something with them?
Once we get that out of the way, we need to discuss how the others either lost their positions or died. And that will be a tall order, since we're talking a huge genocide. I do have a couple thoughts myself as to how we can go about that, but I'd like first to hear everybody else out on the matter, so please state below if you have any ideas how to approach this.
