The Bleach: Tales (漂白剤:説話, Hyouhakuzai: Setsuwa) is a canon instalment attached to Bleach (Kenji Hiroshi). Each story is a self-contained tale that serves to expand upon that characters back-story whilst linking into the main canon of the aforementioned work. An example is the aptly named Shiba Saga which followed Rosuto Shiba prior to his imprisonment in the Wandering Spirit World, and comprised three arcs.

- If Bleach (Kenji Hiroshi) is considered a spiritual successor to Bleach: Tribulations, which is authored by APS, then this work could be considered an interquel between them. Bleach: Tribulations followed the story of Kei Yume and was referred to as Part 0 by APS. Bleach: Tales follows a series of characters and is known by the author as Part 0.5.
