Bleach: Origin of the Yonkō (四侯の起源:ブリーチ, Yonkō no Kigen: Burīchi) chronicles the events that transpired before and during the Grand Migration, the formation of the Yonkō, and the events that drove Kurama Kawahiru to the edge.

Overview[]

A excerpt from the records of Lavi Kawahiru

When the world was still young, the Almighty One selected 3 brothers from his creation. He charged them with the government of the 3 Realms.
The Eldest Brother, Kawahiru, was given dominance over the heavenly realms, and he shaped it according to his will.
The Middle Brother, Kurosaki, was charged with overseeing the realms of men, and he moved the hearts of mankind in the way he saw fit.
The Youngest Brother, Asakura, was given the keys to the damned realm, and he guarded its gates to prevent anyone from escaping.
For centuries, the brothers governed their realms in peaceful coexistence. From their home in the grand heavenly realm, the brothers shared each others company.
Until one day in the place of eternal torment, a rogue distinguished from the damned Denizens confronted Asakura. Wounding the gatekeeper, the rogue led his armies out of Hell, plaguing the World of the Living and the heavenly realms.
From this, the descendents of the Kawahiru and Kurosaki are forever at odds with the descendents of the Asakura.
Except for a group of individuals casting aside prejudices. A group of warriors whose name gained recognition across worlds arose. This is their story.
