Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World is a Bleach novel written by Ryōgo Narita under the direction of Tite Kubo. It takes place after the end of the manga and focuses on Shūhei Hisagi as the main protagonist.
Summary[]
The novel revolves around Shūhei Hisagi as he embarks on a new mission to fight against a secret enemy and solve the mystery left behind by his former captain, Kaname Tōsen. The story reveals more details about the Four Noble Houses, the Soul King, and the Arrancar and Fullbringers who survived the Quincy Blood War, as well as the discovery of the truth behind the world.
"Hisagi Shūhei, vice captain of squad 9 and editor-in-chief of the Seireitei communication, is the main character. |
The story is set around an assassination attempt aimed at the Tsunayashiro, one of the four great noble clans. At the same time, an unknown Shinigami possessing powers similar to those of Ichigo Kurosaki attacks the Quincy and the Arrancar that survived in Hueco Mundo. Furthermore, a rapidly growing, mysterious religious group in the Human World seems to have joined forces with Yukio Hans Vorarlberna. The turmoil in each of the three realms of existence was rooted in the installment of a new head of the Tsunayashiro family, Tokinada Tsunayashiro, the former husband of Kaname Tōsen's friend Kakyō. As the head of the Seireitei Communication, Shūhei Hisagi is the one who will tread further into the dark heart of this mystery. However, while he attempts to approach the case from a journalistic viewpoint, he cannot help but getting his personal feelings about Tōsen mixed into his investigation. However, he does not yet know that he is trying to touch the fearful secrets of Soul Society itself.
