Bleach: Blutmond (ブリーチ•ブルートムーン, Burīchi: Burūtomood; German and Japanese for "Bleach: Bloodmoon") is the sequel series set twelve months after Bleach: Second Act ends, and is written by User:Ten Tailed Fox. The story's main protagonist is Geoffrey Oscar, a Quincy. It was canceled on August 28, 2013, in favor of running Part II of Second Act.
Characters[]
All Bleach characters are "souls". Living humans contain souls within their bodies, while disembodied souls, or spirits, have a form composed of particles of Reiryoku called Reishi (霊子, Spirit Particles), which otherwise mimics human anatomy, aside from incredibly slowed aging. This form encompasses all of the spirit's being; there is no distinction between spirit and body. There are a variety of different types of spirits in Bleach, each with a different visual theme and approach to combat.
Plot[]
Summary[]
- "A long time ago... An infinitely long time ago... We lived in the shadows of history. Countless are those who have experienced hardships, tragedies beyond description... It is under these circumstances, that now, the Bount will finally emerge from the darkness..."
- —The Return of the Bount
As the Human World's various governments come under the control of the Bount-controlled faction, the Königreich, and Soul Society still unable to properly fight back against the Bount threat, it is up to Geoffrey Oscar, a young boy discovering his role in the grand scheme of the spiritual dimensions, and his new allies in the world of the living to prevent what could be the permanent destruction of the balance of the souls and the end of the universe as they know it.
Meanwhile, as the Shinigami watch the events below unfold, the Central 46 makes a motion to end both the Bount and Quincy species once and for all which will, in their minds, end the threat to the balance of the souls once and for all...

Creation & Conception[]
The tagline for the series, "They don't know where the wolf rests", is actually from a song that Njalm, a fellow member of Wikia, heard in a nightmare about a fiendish wolf-life creature. Unintentionally as it was, this series also explores the "vampires vs werewolves" scenario that is popular in modern horror and fantasy fiction; the Bount represent vampires, and Vladik and the Vollmond represent the werewolves.
Differences from Canon[]
Blutmond has the same differences from the canon that Second Act has. In addition, the Royal Guard's membership and roles are entirely different from the canon incarnation of the organization, though somethings remain the same.
Trivia[]
- Vladik was originally meant to be the main character of Blutmond, but this was decided against in order to build a character up from the very start; from powerlessness.
