The Beast Realm (畜生道, "Animal Realm") is a place where the werewolf clan was originally cursed to dwell due to the sin(s) they committed in life.

Note: From context, it is most likely that the Beast Realm refers to a physical location outside of the Soul Society, although this has not been confirmed by the author. It is also implied that the sin committed by the werewolf clan was revenge.^{Reference needed}
