The Aufseher (所長, Shochō, German for Warden/Jailor, Japanese for Monk of Control) are an Clan of Artificial Souls in the Human world/Rukongai with zero chain and Quincy-like abilities. They are noted as being only a Clan/Large Family, not multiple families or a whole army, just a small group. They are considered "Not Natural" and similar to Bounts in their nature of existence. They are known to be very Individual, Nomadic and having a Meh connection to their main artificial roots.
They take on a humanoid form with fancy, normal clothing, having a dark scarred circle on their bodies and a different, Kanji-like red symbol called an Aufseher Emblem on their body, being a long entwining tattoo all of them have on their body similar to an Arrancar's Number, being hidden under their clothing in most situations, along with having one black line on their face.
Origin[]
The Aufseher are a clan of unnatural souls within the Rukongai and Human world with multiple Unique powers. Their origins are as experiments to make Artificial Shinigami Souls with Reishi Abilities, similar to closing the gap between Hollow and Shinigami, this was the application of giving artificial souls the vague biology and information from Quincies and other Unique Humans, having embedded modifications within their souls. They are all a clan of modified souls with integrated, intentional reishi based and other abilities. They have existed for over 900 years, being the direct product of merging both the Konpaku cells of Shinigami and Quincies and using Artificial Souls as their vessel, blurring those lines and not fully making something with JUST the powers of both.
Abilities[]
Hex Practitioners: Aufseher are able to utilize Kido Barriers, Seals, Hado, and Healing kido, though their form of it taps into all their unique powers, being renamed "Hexes" as a general term, taking on its own form based on Quincy Spells AND Kido.
Chainless Core: They naturally have zero chain of fate, instead where they would being a scarred over circle on their chest, working as a "Core" on their body, allowing them to survive from basically any attack that doesnt affect their core, and more, their core being what determines their power, the anchor of their soul, as long as their core exists they are fine.
Reiatsu Power Buildup: Their powers constantly build up within their core, causing them to constantly gain strength and powerup, being their "Form", they dont have much of a form, instead their power constantly increasing, and their prowess over their skills being augmented by their abnormal growth. This process can be amplified by being around another Aufseher.
Near Death Powerup: Once one has taken immense damage, their core is able to fully reconstruct it using Reishi, causing the user to go through a metamorphosis, raising their physical power and prowess to increase by insane rates, getting a powerboost each time this happens based on how intense it is. As long as their core exists once its finished, they get a powerup.
Festigkeit: They themselves control the reishi essence within their soul, being able to remake their bodies or change it altogether by merging it with other reishi, allowing the user to absorb reishi from anotehr reishi lifeform to absorb them, causing their soul to be unstable but with high rewards. They are able to manipulate that natural essence that makes a soul, extending and controlling it across the areas. They can fully channel this essence within their soul, allowing them to focus their strength to insane degrees, putting all their strength into their hands or legs to increase their speed or attack power, focusing it into their eyes to increase their sensing abilities, etc. When they fully channel their reiatsu and physical power into something, it creates a blue crack design on it as a visual for it.
Reishi Absorption: They have the ability to absorb reishi etched into their soul, allowing them to heal themselves by absorbing reishi into themselves, being able to do it at insane speeds and rates by training it, allowing the user to fully reconstruct their body and change it using their Reishi. They can also merge it with their reiatsu to restore it or apply it to attacks to enhance them.
Bewegen: A main art of them, mixing both Hirenkyaku and the Basic Souls Movement of Shunpo, using their own specialization to propel and destabalize reishi by blasting it out from under their feet and using Festigkeit to channel their physical essences into their feet. This mixes the properties of Hirenkyaku and Shunpo, creating space under the user and being able to make Speed-clones.
Power Transfer: Via making a gigantic pentagram type symbol on the ground and doing a large-ass ceremony, an Aufseher is able to transfer their power among their colleagues, or for its main purpose, absorb the powers of a Shinigami/Arrancar by doing so, being their main thing. Once doing so, the properties of their Zanpakuto and knowledge, reiatsu, etc would be bonded to the users Kostbarkeit.
Illusions/Hypnosis: Aufseher are able to cast illusions and various forms of Hypnosis, mind reading, etc all based on whoever has it, it varies a TON based on whoever is using it. One Aufseher could make an illusion clone of himself, the next could stun others, it all varies a lot.
Kostbarkeit[]
Kostbarkeit: Is a tool/weapon that was technologically created by the Aufseher clan and is only wielded by them, being considered similar to a Bakkoto in how it works. It is a Semi-Parasitic soul-weapon that grants the Aufseher the ability to Amplify their physical strength, enhancing their spiritual power, and based on which one, granting an Ability. They all are infused with specific purposes and how they work, being extremely organic in appearance, boney. They are able to change and grow alongside the user, becoming more and more connected in the process. They are more literally alive than Zanpakuto however, being able to feed on beings to evolve. The usage of these abilities and powerups however are not based on you summoning it, because its based on your reiatsu in base form and how much you put in the weapon, allowing you to gain a larger powerup based on your base reiatsu you feed it.
Enhanced Strength: Enhances the users physical power when you feed it reiatsu, slightly growing and changing in appearance if enough is fed to the user. it constantly has to feed, if it begins to starve it will commit Soul-Suicide against its user.
Enhanced Spiritual Power: By having enough of a connection to your Kostbarkeit, you are able to increase your Spiritual power just by having it out at all constantly. It grows and changes constantly, but based on your connection and how much its been fed, the stronger it will be overtime.
Lebewesen state Kostbarkeit example.
Lebewesen: Semi-unseals the users Weapon, causing the weapon to become a large, puppet like creature in appearance, taking on the same general theming based on the appearance and name. amplifying the users ability gained and the powerup but in return forcing the user to have to really focus to control their Kostbarkeit, making them have to overpower it. The way you activate your Lebewesen is that you do a Special Incantation that is in Latin that is different based on the user, in the process fully transforming your weapon and transforming it
Schimäre: Is considered the final form of an Aufseher, manifesting as either: A merged form related to the users body, or a large independent summoning the size of a building or so, the users power being directly merged with their Kostbarkeit's, maximizing their attack power, and abilities. With enough mastery and modification of your Kostbarkeit, you can seperate it into a Summoning and fused form, cause you are just that skilled with using it and modifying it. They gain the power to Change and shift the physical form of it aswell with just their will. They can directly affect its physical state.
