Tetsubara (鉄薔薇, "Iron Rose"): The Zanpakutō normally appears as a nodachi with a star-shaped guard and hilt wrapped with bands of charcoal colour. Atsushi habitually carries the sheathed sword around in his hand.
Shikai: The released state is activated with the command "Strike Down" (打ち倒す, uchitaosu).
