Asahi Kurosaki (旭黒崎, Kurosaki Asahi) is a fallen god and wandering spirit who traverses the many realms. She was birthed from the eyes of the Soul King, being one of his few vessels to take sentient form, and by extension refers to herself as his daughter. As the Eyes of the Soul King, she governs Subsistence.

Immense Spiritual Power: Born from the soul of the Soul King himself, Asahi possesses incredible spiritual energy.[1] Those who sense it are normally unable to comprehend nor align its signature to a single race, however, as it contains properties akin to Quincy, Hollow, and Shinigami all at once.[1]
Absolute Sight: As the Eyes of the Soul King, Asahi was born with the ability to see the totality of the world through the power manifested inside of her right eye. She can see anywhere into the world at anytime. It is through this power that Asahi keeps watch over the world's various affairs.
Darkness Manipulation: Asahi can create, shape and manipulate the element of darkness.[1]
- Shadow Manipulation: Asahi has showcased the ability to manipulate shadows.[1]
- Shadow Stealth: Asahi is able to hide herself within the shadows formed by various objects. This allows her to hide not only her presence, but also her spiritual energy, rendering her undetectable to even the most trained senses. Using this technique, Asahi has spied on many entities throughout the many realms without their knowledge.[1]
Descorrer (解空 (デスコレール), Desukorēru; Spanish for "Drawing Back/Opening", Japanese for "Loosed Void"): A technique used by Espada-level Arrancar, and sometimes others, to open a Garganta between the Human World and Hueco Mundo. Asahi showcased the ability to effortlessly open a void large enough for the likes of a Gillian-class Menos to fit through with nothing more than a mere clap.[1]
Enhanced Pesquisa: An advanced Arrancar perception technique that allows an Arrancar to sense spiritual energy. While most Arrancar possess the ability to do so, Asahi has displayed formidable skill in the technique. By simply being in Mikado Amarante's presence, Asahi was able to immediately deduce exactly how powerful he was. Furthermore, she could also read the mild fluctuations in his spiritual energy and through it conclude that he was in fact capable of Hollowfication.[1]
