Ami Okano (岡野亜美, Okano Ami) is a Shinigami and currently a seventh year student at the Shinō Academy. During her time in the academy she was ranked at the bottom of her graduating class along with her friends Jiyūjin Shinkirō and Kuma Matoke, whom the latter she has developed a crush on.
She was at one point of the prime students at the academy. Changes in her life such as the murder of her parents by the hands of her brother caused tremendous amounts of stress on her which went on to affect her performance in the academy. She eventually began to struggle in her classes and later was placed in the remedial courses where she met with Jiyūjin and Kuma for the first time.
Appearance[]
Ami's general appearance is that of a young fair skinned girl with a slender body build. She is neither too tall nor too short but stands slightly taller Kuma Matoke, who stands at five feet and three inches while she stands at five feet and four inches. Ami's other features include wavy blond hair which she usually wears down. Her hair is long and is known to reach down past her shoulders to her lower back. She is also recognizeable by her round eyes which are baby blue in color.
While in the academy Ami's attire wasn't too varied when compared to other students. She wore the traditional outfit for girls in the academy: a white t-shirt with red stripes, a red undershirt, and red colored trousers. Her footwear consists of samurai-style sandals which are commonly worn. Her Zanpakutō is worn on her left hip to accomodate the fact that she is left-handed.
