Amaterasu Kata — Hiraishin (天照型 — 飛雷神, Lit. meaning; "Heavenly Illumination— Flying Thunder God") is a technique belonging to the Amaterasu Kata collection which involves evading and dealing damage. It is the first technique Nimaiya helped Ishihara Yamakage develop.
Overview[]
Like most techniques created by Ishihara, Hiraishin requires complete body control and relaxation. When the opponent launches an attack at the practitioner, the user drops down bring their fact five centimeters above the ground. Ishihara teaches this portion of the technique by telling his students to stick their tongue out, if their tongue can't touch the surface, then they are too high up. If their tongue bends, then they are to close. Right before dropping the user dashes forward at supernatural speeds, catching the opponent off guard. This gives a sense of "flying" as their face is just above the ground and their move at a rapid speed. As they fall to the ground, their speed increase drastically, even if said speed is beyond the user's capabilities. After dashing at the opponent, the user attacks them in a blind spot. This is where attacking them while they are launching their attack becomes critical. While one launches their attack it is very difficult for one to shift their body so that they defend against a freely controlled opponent. Not even including the fact that they attack a blind spot.
