Template:Shinigami Infobox (Eighth Division) Altair Tori (アルタイルトリ, Tori Arutairu) is a Shinigami of the 8th Division in the Gotei 13, under Captain Erika Fujibayashi. He is also one of the three Falcon Brothers, being the youngest brother.

Powers and Abilities[]
High Spiritual Energy: As a fully trained Shinigami, Altair possesses high levels of spiritual power.
Shunpo: Altair has demonstrated skill in Shunpo. He was capable of delivering messages quickly whilst avoiding his possessed squad mates.
Enhanced Strength: Altair was capable of lifting Gawain with only one arm and still perform an impressive Shunpo, despite Gawain being heavier than Altair.
Zanpakutō[]
Nuedori (鵺鳥, Golden Mountain Thrush). Altair's Zanpakutō takes the form of a bronze-colored cinquedea with a notched blade.
- Shikai: Altair releases his Zanpakutō with the command "Give Wing" (与え羽, Ataehane).
- Shikai Special Ability: Altair's says that the special power of Nuedori is Reflection (反省, Hansei). It allows him to perfectly match the opposing strength and speed of a spiritual attack instantly and then tip the balance in his favor by adding his own spiritual power. As the spiritual power pushing the strongest wins Altair is always capable of negating his opponents attacks.

- Altair is based on the assassins from Assassin's Creed. His first name, Altair, is of Arabic origin and means "Flying Eagle" while his last name, Tori, is Japanese for "Avian", which is derived from the Latin word "Aves", which pertains in some way to birds.
