Akihiko Hideaki is the newly promoted captian of the Fifth Division of the Gotai 13, as well as Major contributor to the,? Shinōreijutsuin? as one of it's main instructors.
Appearance.[]
Akihiko's appearance is rather odd for that of a captain, he wears spectacles with his messy black hair tied back in a loose ponytail, with two strands that frame his face. his outfit consists of a simple blue kimono adorned by multiple squares and in a diamond formation on the right pectoral both sleeves, and the back of his kimono. He often keeps his Zanpakuto concealed on the inside of the kimono when not in battle as he feels it is socially unacceptable for a blade to be seen without a proper reason.
Personality.[]
Calm and collected under the most dire of circumstances, Akihiko is often confided in by his subordinates. However, his stoic demeanor can irritate his companions since he responds to their thoughts with sighs or grunts. By his own admission, Jin has spent most of his time focusing on improving his skills and almost no time at all on cultivating friends. He? also seems annoyed by those who use their martial arts skills to oppress people, claiming that there is no honor in using your skills to suppress others.
History.[]
While his past up to him joining the Gotai 13 is unknown, Akihiko seemingly had interest in the Fifth Division since he arrived at the seireitei, as he felt it was the division the he could most contribute to. Since becoming captain of the division he has become one of the most prominent instructors at the academy wanting to make sure all the students acquire the skills to defend themselves.
