Akihiko (明彦) is a member of the resurgent Imawashī. He is a member of the Gotei Remnant Relief Squad and thus allied with Ryan Kuchiki and the Gotei Remnant, mainly in opposition to the Six Directions and Blades of Night's Veil.

Bakkōtō

• Spiked-hilt Bakkōtō: Akihiko received an experimental Bakkōtō from Hanza Nukui of the Kasumiōji Clan. It contributed to the decay of his mental restraint, and progressively drove him mad.

• Power Enhancement: When used Akihiko's eyes shone and his physical and spiritual attributes rose significantly. He was capable of swiftly catching up with and send the likes of Amagai flying.
