Aileen McFarlane (アイリーン·マクファーレン, Airīn Makufāren) is an Echt Quincy and a member of the Wandenreich's Sternritter, with the designation "D" - "The Dirge".
Appearance[]
Aileen is an attractive, tall and slim young woman. She has medium-length dark red hair and green eyes. Her complexion is quite unusually pale.
Personality[]
Rather melancholic and grumpy most of the time, Aileen's attitude shifts drastically once engaged in combat. She loves the thrill of battle and feels best when blasting her enemies with her sonic attacks. Complex and abstract matters, like the balance of Souls are of no concern to her and she prefers to merely fight the Wandenreich's foes.

Quincy Cross: Aileen possesses a small silver Celtic Cross that is normally attached to a necklace. She may use the cross to summon her spiritual weapon.
Bankai Stealing Device: A seal that takes the form of a simple badge, developed by the Wandenreich as a way to counteract the ultimate weapon of any Shinigami. On average they are believed to be able to capture any Bankai that emits a spiritual wavelength above a certain point. The lower that wavelength, the more difficult it is to capture the weapon. In addition to the requirement of a high enough spiritual signature, those who had achieved Bankai Mastery or had an otherwise perfect bond with their Zanpakutō were incapable of having their Bankai stolen. As a member of the Stern Ritter, Aileen carries one of these Medallions.
Powers and Abilities[]

Expert Marksman: Although young and fairly inexperienced Aileen is a skilled shooter. She might not be as precise as more seasoned Quincy, yet her arrows and sonic blasts hit the mark more often than not. She is able to track moving targets as well. Keen Intellect: When in the thick of battle McFarlane is a focussed quick-thinker. She readily responds to changes in the enemy's approach and tries different tactics in order to determine what works best. Spiritual Awareness: The ability to sense spiritual energy and perceive spiritual beings is a rare skill that primarily manifests in humans after long exposure to a quantity of spiritual energy above a certain point. Great Spiritual Power: The spiritual power of High-Spec Humans, even Quincy, is typically much smaller than their spiritual counterparts but it is not a state that is set in stone as made clear by the sheer power presented by Wandenreich's Stern Ritter who were clearly on par, if not above, Shinigami Captains in strength. When exerted, her spiritual pressure manifests as an aura of dazzling deep pink colour. | |

Reishi Absorption & Manipulation: All spiritually powerful beings utilise Reiryoku when fighting, but they are also paired with secondary aspects in order to create entirely divergent fighting styles and unique abilities. In the case of the Shinigami, they use the spiritual energy generated from their soul alongside a Zanpakutō to combat their enemies; essentially a power from within themselves. In direct contrast the Quincy draw in Reishi from the environment around them in order to form weapons and empower various techniques; a power garnered from the outside. They absorb this energy into their bodies and shape it according to their whims to devastating effect.
The Dirge (哀歌, Aika): Aileen's signature ability revolves around sound. With the use of her Schrift and her spiritual weapon, Clamour, she might unleash powerful sonic attacks laced with spiritual energy. The techniques are fast, potent and usually inflict considerable concussive damage to its targets. While the direct damage dealt ranges from light to moderate, the sonic waves incessantly overwhelm the enemy's senses to stun and confuse them in addition. Hirenkyaku Expert (飛廉脚, lit. "Flying Screen Step/God Step"): An advanced Quincy technique, it is essentially the Quincy variant of the Shinigami Shunpo and the Arrancar Sonído. It is utilised by generating Reishi beneath the feet of the user and then riding the flow to their intended destination. Those who use it do not actually appear to be moving and instead simply appear at each location they travel to, which makes it seem like teleportation. McFarlanes is quite fast and nimble, easily capable of keeping up with Captain-level enemies. | |

Clamour (喚声, Kansei): The spiritual weapon takes the form of a peculiar fusion of a shotgun and a trumpet, basically, a weaponised musical instrument. The tip of its barrel is shaped like a twisted, screaming face.
Quincy: Vollständig[]Jophiel ("Beauty of God"): Defeaning noise heralds the transformation. Two wing-like protrusions that are bent upward emerge from McFarlane's back with ornamental screaming golden skulls embedded on their tips. In addition, a rebreather-like mask with loudspeaker grill and headphones manifests on her head together. At the same time appears a vest with dome-shaped shoulder pads. In the end, the Clamour elongates itself and morphs into a shape which resembles horn crossed with a guitar and a heavy machine gun, retaining the screaming head on the tip of the barrel.
