While Yuha Bach can create schrifts and bestow them upon others through the blood drinking ceremony, it seems the ceremony exists only to bestow them upon someone else. The actual act of developing these powers don't seem to be tied to it.

With enough power/time/effort would it not be plausible for a quincy to create their own schrift? Developing their own doesn't necessarily step into Yuha Bach's realm of "giving".

I ask because my friends and I are putting together an RP and we wanted quincy to have schrifts, but don't want any unbeatable giver quincy nonsense.

Our idea is to have family lines of quincy. That each have a letter. Each member of that family can develop a schrift starting with that letter. Obviously powers scale to the power of the quincy in question, no OP for no reason powers.

Maybe even have a ritual for finishing your schrift. You train and think through the schrift for months maybe even a year, then absorb as much reishi as you can to temporarily boost yourself far passed your normal limits (probably requires other quincy to help). Carving the letter on your own soul.

Thoughts? is there any canon reason this wouldn't work?

So let’s say that in the 1000 year blood war arc, Yamamoto had both his arms when he was confronted by Yhwach. Yhwach reaches for the medallion, but for whatever reason doesn’t have it on his person. He now has to fight Yamamoto with the full strength of his bankai. Can Yamamoto change his fate, or will the Quincy king still prevail?

Excuse me, I have a major question. I like to put my fanfic Bleach story universe up, but I'm not sure how to do it. Am I allow to do it and if I am what should I do first? I like to put my Arrancar Army up first, but I really need help know what to do please. If anyone can help me out please tell me what I need to do please.

If everyone in Soul society and Bleach in general speaks Japanese then how do the Shinigami, Quincy or other characters operate in other places of the world that speak other languages? Surely other countries besides Japan exist in universe.

as i watching the anime i fell like the transtion of  power to shikai and bankai fell short to my exspections so i decide to work on exspanding this concepts by creating a rare acention from bankai known as awakening by breaking the limit of one spirital pressure creating nensho (broken pressure) witch by natural means is almost impossible though achieving this rejects all spirital pressure nensho regenertes on it's on . it defaltly creates a barrier around it's owner only another awakening can face another 

though the breaking of the spiritaul pressure to wake up the nensho is very deadly to the one who tries  and there is a limit to ones nensho compacity though all are different  in such case with an exirment i conducted with the captain of sqaud ten toshiro hitsugaya (reason is because his bankai was really easy for to sketch and mondify ) though when awakening is first is used  is is very inmature due to it  healing it's master  and protecting them from further harm this lower the amount of nensho that is there and heavy training is required for it to mature and wake up fully and max out it's potentcial  toshiro i've sketched a couple time im not the best artist but i tried to though his awakening is daul sided  meaning the awakening has two form with different abilies  here's a list of folk from bleach i did this on

I've recently started work on the Fanon Canon version of Seireitei Communication, and I've got the basic skeleton of the article up. What I'd like people to do is try and come up with a few articles for the publication, and post them here so they can be integrated into the Contributor list on the Seireitei Communication page. I've used the magazine as a means of integrating Kenji through the FC roster before any RP's took place, and it was a good way of filling out his history and personality; effectively it gave him a bit more depth before his debut.

I'll use N's Kazuo Hanazawa as an example. As discussed here, a multi-series contribution was made based on Kazuo's love of cooking, which was called A Lieutenants Guide to Hearty Subordinates. Not only does it highlight the character's personality or hobbies, but it serves to humanise them a great deal as well. I used this particular example because I linked it back to the canon by stating it replaced Kaname Tosen's own recipe book.

So that's my wish, at any rate. If you're interested post the name of the article and the character who publishes it, and we'll see if we can't get ourselves a beefy news magazine. The examples given in the canon range from cookbooks to guide's on manliness, right up to Rukia's Substitute Shinigami Diary (complete with Chappy the Rabbit illustrations). So even if it sounds wacky throw it out there!

Hello guys, I'm here to prose an idea of a group of rookie Shinigami for the Fanon Canon. Across wikia I tend to try and gather users to create rookie characters to help build them up in the site's fanon canon over the course of time. I'd have events that include these rookies in quite a few different ways.

This time, I'm choosing Shinigami because they have a bit of a base we can work with. An academy where Shinigami start (which will be where the first big RP will unfold with all of you guys' and my own rookie). Maybe build some relations with one another etc etc. I feel, that if we starting with a character from ground one, we might be able to bond and have a little bit more fun... Or at least that's what ends up happening for me.

Projects like this tend to bring the community together, for the better or for the worst and I hopefully have quite a few things planned for us as the rookies so please be ready for anything! Now, on to the information needed.

Your student can be any age you deem necessary for them to be. All the character needs is a skeleton of abilities. Personality, history, and appearance will be left entirely up to you all. Hell the page doesn't even have to be made, you can literally just submit the character using the form down below, I'll even place an example.

Remember, these people are ROOKIES! They should be ROOKIE LEVEL AND SHOULD GET STRONGER THROUGH TIME PLEASE. There should be no Shinou Academy student with a bankai. Child prodigy my ass, please don't try this lol.

As mentioned, in a couple of days I plan on hosting an RP where these kids will be in a "classroom" or maybe just out at the academy mingling together or even doing other things. You can get to know people, possibly train with someone. All of the above is possible. Following this roleplay, I plan on having a "graduation" themed RP where the students pick which squad they'll go to etc, etc.

With Wikia deciding to make this stupid-ass Wikia skin the only option for a skin, and me, being my usual "fuck everything that tries to make me do something" self, I searched high and low for a way to keep at least something about Monobook. And luckily I managed to find something.

So basically, if you are also like me, and preferred Monobook, here's how you can redo the Wikia skin to at least somewhat resemble Monobook. The info comes from here: https://dev.wikia.com/wiki/PseudoMonobook

Tldr, what you have to do is go to your personal global css page on this site, which can be found at http://bleachfanfiction.wikia.com/wiki/[User:Your Username]/global.css (don't actually put in the brackets though) and, for many of you, it's likely a blank page. For those that have a blank page, you'll create the page and add the following:

If you do have content on your global css page, make sure the above code is at the top of the article before anything else.

And then you get... whatever this is. A pseudo Monoboook. It's not perfect, but damn it if I'll let Wikia win. Anyways, this is just for you guys, assuming there's anybody but me, that liked Monobook before Wikia decided "fuck the users" and removed it.

So, now that we're getting close to wrapping up the merger stuff, and the grand opening of the unified Bleach Fan Fiction Wiki, I thought I could use this chance to bring up the project ideas that we've been spitballing around on threads here and there. Since we're still getting things squared away, this will remain solely a discussion, but if everybody's on board for the ideas discussed here, we can begin rather soon on them. But again, for right now, consider everything discussed here solely for brainstorming.

The following project proposals are just my thoughts on the ideas, so suggestions and/or different proposals are very welcome here, hence why this thread is entitled "New Projects Discussion". So do comment on my ideas, and propose your own ideas as well, the more projects and stuff we can get rolling on the site, the better I'd say.

Anyways, let's begin.

This will be a page that will focus on the questions brought up in the previous thread, "Biggest Questions about Bleach", as well as others that the community believes are thought-provoking and meaningful queries about the series that other fans would be likely to search information about and end up stumbling their way here. The idea for this corner is simple: every question/thought will have its own section on the page, and under the section, there will be links to relevant articles in regards to that concept.

So, for example. What even is the Kido Corps? We've never actually seen them in-series besides their former Captain Tessei. Therefore, underneath a "What is the Kido Corps?" section, we'd post links to Kido Corps articles made by other users, or perhaps even the one we'll be working on for the FC.

Another one would be the Four Noble Clans. Only two have been seen in the manga/anime, and the third one has been brought up in the Light Novels, so under this section, we'd post articles made by users about the four houses. One example would be Shonen's article on the subject, which would be a good read for attracting potential users on the site.

Anyways, you guys get the idea. We can organize this page as we all see fit, the idea is essentially to focus on queries people tend to ask questions about a lot (we can even skim Reddit posts to see what people tend to make posts on asking about for more ideas).

As I brought up on the aforementioned thread, one idea that I was thinking about, thanks to Wolf's suggestion, was an article competition we could host every month, two months, or three months, in which everyone who wishes to participate can write up their own rendition of a canon (including the anime and games) Zanpakuto introduced in the series, and the best article will be the featured article on the main page. This can even include Zanpakuto that we know only in name, like Kyoka Suigetsu or Shinsou, in which only its name and abilities are known, but nothing is known about the actual spirit itself. So there's a lot of freedom here in how to handle these articles. And of course, there's no need to reserve any of them either. What I mean is, say I decide to do Katen Kyokotsu on this cycle, Kenji could also submit his version of Katen Kyokotsu during the same cycle even if I am as well. Or if I submitted Katen Kyokotsu on this cycle, someone could do a version of Katen Kyokotsu for a future cycle. So there really is no limits when it comes to options there.

I think this'll also solve the whole featured article issue we've always had in trying to actually, you know, have a featured article there that wasn't sitting there for a year. It narrows down the choices too, since the original featured article concept was open to... well, every article on the site, which can get annoying to sift around to find a choice. This way, we can promote a fun project, and actually promote articles on the main page a little more frequently than we've been doing. Win-win, I'd say.

This is a smaller project than the others discussed, but it is also something that'll take a little bit of time to do, and this is something I believe we're mostly all on board about. Since Bleach Wiki does not care to do any actual stuff with the light novels, we can take it upon ourselves to make detailed summarizations of the Light Novels for Bleach.

I've started the first article here: Bleach: Can't Fear Your Own World, but I'm hoping we can expand to cover as many of them as we can, if not all of them. Translations are relatively simple to find for most of them, so this is more of, who would like to write a summary for every chapter of the light novels as you read them. We can always split it up among all the users too, maybe each cover a single chapter or something, I dunno. This is something we can discuss on how to handle.

You all knew this was coming. If I remember right, this will be our 4th attempt at a Fanon Canon premise. The first one was some old Quincy dude, I don't really remember the details. The second one was my Soul King fragment thing. And the third one was the Coven. And all of them had merit, but none really ended up sticking. The biggest problem with the third rendition from most people is that it sounds as though it felt like the "least Bleach" of them all, in that it felt like it strayed a lot from Bleach itself. I can't say I completely agree, but I can understand where you're coming from.

Unfortunately, as of right now, I don't have any concrete ideas to propose for this. But what I do think would be a good starting point, as Shonen brought up before, is for us to focus on the Light Novel information; particularly, the ones that come after the Thousand Year Blood War. What I personally suggest is a consideration for one of the more interesting consequences of the war.

Referencing this from my masterpost on the Light Novel reveals: "The earthquakes that the death of the Soul King caused, led to the rise of several religious end-time sects."

I found this to be rather interesting, and it also sounds like a great starting spot for what could become our FC premise. So, going off of this, I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts on this and also what you guys suggest as potential FC story concepts.

So, while thinking of ways we could attract new users here, one idea I thought about was in regards to what Shonen said about how a lot of attention is garnered by my Kyoka Suigetsu page. And I wondered why that was, and the most simple answer is that Kyoka Suigetsu is one of the only Zanpakuto in the series we know very little about, while simultaneously being one of the most powerful and belonging to a major character like Aizen, so obviously Bleach fans thinking there might be more about Kyoka Suigetsu out there somewhere, are likely googling it and stumbling across likely one of the only Bleach-related wiki article with that name: mine.

That got me thinking: since we're still working on the url move, and gaining new folks is stage 2 of the whole revival of Bleach plan we got going here, what we could also do in preparation of that inevitable stage 2 is come up with what might be the most desirable things that Bleach fans want to read about or find out about, that the series either goes very little into or doesn't touch upon at all.

Essentially, what would you all think are the biggest questions or thoughts people have when reading/watching Bleach? I was thinking, if we formulated some of these questions and compiled a list of them, we could probably start an article project (much like the supernatural creatures project we did a while ago) that we can all put up articles that are relevant to those questions. For instance, like my Kyoka Suigetsu, maybe fans want to see the Zanpakuto for Gin, or Tosen, or maybe they want to see an actual article for Ryujin Jakka. Things like that, basically, so whatever you guys think might be major questions or thoughts fans might have about Bleach, let's list them on this thread and we can eventually put together a project to create some new articles out of them.

To all those who are using the Monobook skin, are you guys receiving an error message when trying to access the upload photo page? And for that matter, other pages like "my preferences" and whatnot? For me, that seems to be the case. Newly uploaded images aren't showing for me either. Is this just on my end or is anyone else who uses Monobook dealing with these issues?

Also, when I tried making this thread on Monobook, it gave me the "Undefined" page instead of posting this thread. Whatever is going on, something is trying to really fuck around with Monobook, it seems -_- Had to write this on that gaudy Wikia skin.

I've literally lost all motivation. It's like it threw itself into the sea after that terribad ending.

I tried making a comeback with Kaiba Ashiya but it doesn't seem to be working very well.

I don't particularly feel like making a Kido user since, well, I already do a lot on Fairy Tail Fanon.

Perhaps if anyone would like to RP? (In a couple of days, I still have exams on.) I may be able to jumpstart my motivation if someone gives me a good ol' challenge, who knows.

Sorry if this seemed out of place. I just really like Bleach but I have no motivation for it whatsoever. It's a paradox that's eating at my head.

Hey guys, as per Sei's suggestion, I think I am going to add another box to the main page, just below the featured character article, where we can list the active RP's that are currently "hot topics" on the wiki. So by active I mean they are being edited more then once a week, and by RP obviously I mean more than one author. Other than that it's pretty self-explanatory.

So, instead of digging through the wiki myself, cause I'm lazy like that, please post a link to the RP you want listed on the main page here. It's also a great way to get publicity, so I hope you'll jump at the chance to advertise. (*ahem*)

Jugram betrays Yhwach, steals his powers, becomes the major antagonist. We've seen Yhwach fight enough already, against Yamamoto and Ichibei. Normally, the main villain doesn't show much until the very last battle; I don't know, maybe it's a dumb prediction.
